Today I had all day off and wanted to get my hunter to 1600 to get my set piece, I started qing at 7:45 am its now 3:42 and i have played 36 rounds 3 leavers and 2 players going 0/6 I can’t do this anymore goodbye.
Can I have your gold?
ppl will come in this thread and be like ‘pebkac’ which it certainly can’t be said isn’t a possibility, but this kind of thing truly blows no two ways about it
haha my addiction will call me back next xpac
Would of had it done many times over if you just qued actual arena. Not hard to grab someone who is conquest gearing an alt to que with you.
If you see the 11.1 changes for DH you might be back sooner.
Sitting here remembering all the people arguing with me saying shuffle would save PvP
Shuffle is peak pvp what do you mean people treat other players like AI because they might as well be at this point and they love sitting 30-50min ques instead of 30 second 3v3 ques
shuffle is the future
I agree queues are absolutely ridiculous right now, and they only get worse the higher up you get in rating.
It’s probably offset a bit by the times I get sub 5 minute queues, but on AVERAGE, I’d say that queues between 2200-2400 mmr shuffle and 2500-2700 mmr blitz are both around 30 minutes, with the most extreme outlier I’ve had being 1 hour and 37 minutes for a blitz queue.
This is simply not acceptable. Unfortunately, at the end of the day you’re just going to get trolled by one or more of the following replies “can I have your gold”, “just play healer”, or “just find people to play 3s with”.
What the trolls and/or elitists don’t realize though is that their game mode(s) will cease to exist/get further support if/when enough players such as yourself quit [e.g., if the casuals aren’t happy and stop playing, Blizzard will have effectively zero incentive to invest time and/or resources into wow pvp, especially rated wow pvp].
Can’t make people want to heal. You can add more incentives (and absolutely should), but at the end of the day there is a very real and insurmountable community problem that people don’t want the responsibility of healing.
I prolly sound like a broken motherboard but right now everyone is on holiday brake , which means they people are travelling to visit family and or friends some our even travelling to EU or other countries for the holiday brake not everyone plays WoW 24/7 queues will pick back up when the holiday brakes our joever
I can help u get 1600 in 2v2 on my monk if you want? I’m sure it will be a breeze! lmk!
doesnt cr start at 1500 this late in the season?
I will say I started playing hunter in solo just for the lolz.
Sitting twenty to thirty min ques to get 2200 felt awful. I lost interest at 2300 because… like why would I AFK 30 minutes to play 10 or less minutes? Dps who grind solo shuffle are the biggest sweats.
Hello Camzer,
Long waits can suck. I don’t know if you only like that form of pvp, but random/epic BGs Q’s are always poppin. It’s random, it’s pvp, some great games and some terrible roflstomps, and everything in between, never know what you are gonna get, but you could Q for those while waiting for your other Q’s to pop.
Then you pvp while you are waiting to pvp. Win-Win.
I agree, but I think Blizzard has more or less made it clear that they don’t care to try to incentivize healing. So far the incentives are, at best, laughable and pathetic (e.g., conquest tokens, 30 sec off trinket cd, an incredibly lame title (imo), and …?).
Aside from maybe the trinket change, none of the above has any meaningful impact on healer participation, and tbh, I doubt the trinket change really did either. Other than just not caring, I don’t understand why Blizzard refuses to implement any meaningful healer incentives.
Many solid ideas have been proposed, and even the not-so-sustainable ones would be better than what we have now (e.g., dps queue priority tokens, bmah boxes, 5 digit amounts of gold for 3+ wins, mounts at x/y/z rating as a healer specialization, etc.).
The community problem is pretty significant I agree, largely in part due to the community insisting that healers not be able to keep teams alive through zug zug dpsing, that healers not be able to do any meaningful damage, etc., while still expecting short queues. This on top of the anti-healer dampening mechanic, and I’m surprised we even have 20-30 minute average queues now [e.g., as a reward for doing your job and keeping your team alive, let’s make your character progressively weaker until the game forcefully ends = not fun].
I just want to see Blizzard make a more honest good faith effort to incentivize healing. At the moment, they just tossed a couple of weak ideas out there and then never revisited the issue, despite the issue never being fixed. They can’t even be bothered to try to give a little more priority to healer spec balance (e.g., when we have 1-2 healer specs being vastly superior to the others, this alone crushes participation from healers).
Idk, maybe it’s an mmorpg issue too? I don’t really have any queue time issues due to lack of healers in other pvp games I play (e.g., overwatch being the main one).
if you think shuffle is peak pvp then you’re delusional. Peak pvp is finding 2 other players, befriending them, and queing together. This whole making the game anti social is a joke and why more people are flocking to classic. It’s an MMO. if you want to play a solo player game, then go play something else.
Plethora of games to play this holiday season and we’re beyond half way into the season.
Numbers are likely very down and it’s probably why they sent out 11.1 tuning notes this week.
Nothing wrong with quitting and coming back in season 2 at this point… But expecting them to come back at any point in the next realistically 6 weeks to fix “que” issues will result in literal brainrot.
My advice? Find a pvp game on steam and go play that for a bit.
It definitely sucks waiting around BUT to play devils advocate it does seem like they are making effort and there isnt anything better than the WoW experience if you want an MMO (unfortunately).
The state of the game really forced my hand to explore healing and if you want games, learn to heal. I watch people with all kinds of targeting styles perform well and youll get more games than you want to play.
What I was saying is that Shuffle sucks, and people believed it to the future. However, all it has done is introduce a new form of toxicity in WoW PvP and further divide the community.
