I probably will not run M+ dungeons this xpac

M+ is a lot like lifting at the gym: pay attention to what you’re doing, don’t pay attention to what other people are doing.

One, you don’t need to be S tier to do M+ dungeons. Anyone can run a dungeon, so get some friends and do so. Even if you hit your wall, you can slowly push against that and get past it. No need to rush, just progress at your own pace.

You’ll probably go from M0 to M10 in less than a month because you’ve always been capable of it, you just didn’t know.

Two, and I can’t say this enough: you don’t need to be competitive. You don’t need to lift more than you can possibly handle just because some other guys are running +18s or something. Those guys are not in your raid.

Three, don’t let the trophy diminish any fun you want to have. The goal is to have fun, not make the keystone achievement.

Thank you Kabbie, your advice is appreciated. In fact, shortly after I posted this we were discussing it in guild chat and some of our regular M+ runners said the same thing. But it will take time, and he suggested a static group.

My problem will be to find a group that also want to do this that actually are online the same time I am. Too often my previous static groups have fallen apart because of timing. I normally cannot play late due to real life obligations.
