I pay to play WoW and for what?

I know your feel, this not a MMO anymore…

Im just going to left my last 5 months of subscription disappears because there’s nothing enjoyable for me.

But it’s not only WoW, but MMO’s community in general.

The competition overcomes the roleplay.

I am guilty of this. I don’t know why. It is pragmatic to group up and do the quest. But then I fear that they will talk to me. Then the ol’ social anxiety kicks in.

It is far too peopley out there.

How do you spend more time than you actually have?

Words are everything apparently. Do you not see the amount of people who make a post complaining they got called something or other? Every day a new post is made about someone’s “ I got hurt pugging experience.”

We had a meeting and decided not to WQ with you

obviously maybe not to you. but to me 15 is about 50. there are months I can’t afford to pay it because of other things and being on SSI unable to work, it doesn’t give much money. there are some months I can afford to pay to play and other times I can’t.

Some people get hot under the collar when things don’t go exactly their way, and that happens in a lot with a raid this mechanically complex or a week like Tyrannical/Bolstering still at low ilevels.

The best you can do is either escape the situation or try to redirect someone who’s raging with a few words of praise and all. It’s like some people seek validation from this game and that’ll never happen, but we can be nice to each other while we’re here.

I group up because we are doing the same quest so might as well just get it done faster or because they are elites and I can’t really handle them solo so well. as far as talking, na. I don’t talk. I may say Hi, and then ask how much more you need. and thats it.

My rule is simple: assume everyone playing is a total jerk waste of air mouth breathing trolloc until proven otherwise

Did you have your voidwalkers taunt enabled?

wasn’t even using the voidwalker was using my fel guard without taunt on.

I’m not sure what’s going on, but I do want to take the time to add a +1 the the number of people who would like to see more solo content in this game.

Thanks!

Weird then. I know some people can get hot and bothered about numbers while levelling which sucks. Since the squish everything is all over the place while levelling.

My advice?

Play game. Make friends. Have fun. Ignore tools. The end.

Literally never have dealt with a majority of this in my 14 years of playing. Weird flex though… can I have your stuff?

There’s a TON of other MMO’s and games not like this one.

It 100% sounds like this isn’t your type of game. You dislike everything. Move on and enjoy something really fun!

maybe you should try not playing a furry, and also git gud.

I think what you need to do is to find a good social guild. Guilds like that usually have people who will group together for content. The other thing you need to do is to consider that you might be doing or saying something that puts others off.

For example, if you just invite people to a group without first asking if they want to group, then you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Most people will decline because they don’t know why you are asking to group with them.

Save for having trouble getting in to LFG M+ groups (something I’ve always had problems with), pretty much none of this ever happens to me.

No whispers, no trolling, no berating, no abuse, no names, no random kicks, none of it. I rarely have folks deny an invite (in contrast to Classic, where everyone denied my invites O.o). I’ve denied folks to groups.

Is this a realm thing?

I just don’t understand how some folks appear to be magnets for this kind of thing.

I recommend Final Fantasy 14, great game and none of the problems wow has
