Who are you supposed to be again? I think I missed the memo.

Ive come here to remind people that this is a PvE game, dont expect much out of PvP. There are other, better, PvP games.

They’ve been pretty good about making changes to pvp, though?

PvP gearing is also much more respectful of the players time than PVE.

I want to agree with this so much. Unfortunately, game design says differently. Have you forgotten SL already. It was like a month ago.

It is an action game now and they have executed it so poorly.

To be frank, I hate Double Tap, but the fact they did another change for PvE because of PvP bothers me immensely.

Yeah and of course ruining classes in PvE at the cost of PvP when people whine about things, in stereotypical fashion. That hasnt changed.

Double Tap wasn’t removed because of PvP if that’s what is being implied.

It is now, sure.

I don’t get why people can’t understand this is a problem. Double Tap removal or change for PvP specifically, yeah, sure, okay, whatever; this isn’t that, this is outright ripping it out of the tree and screwing over PvE MM with an utterly trash replacement.

Has anybody actually stated exactly why? As it stands, all that’s happening is MM is getting a sucker punch for no stated reason to my understanding in PvE.

the devs are clueless. They want an action game but allow 3rd party content to interfere with gameplay. They want pve but put scores on things. It is an action game

Addons are addons. Yeah, you have a colored opinion of them, and nobody really gives a damn. Get over it or go.

I mean, you have to have some metric to measure completion, and given the way key levels work…

It really wasnt a huge deal in PvE other than being somewhat annoying, and yet many pvpers have repeatedly cried about said ability because they were bad and didnt use a defensive.

So what am I to think?

Pretty simple stuff. If you can’t comprehend that, having a discussion with you is pointless.

Pretty sure the replacement talent is on par or above Double Tap’s dps. (Which isn’t very hard to do. In SL, Double Tap, if performed exactly on CD every minute, was only a 30-50 dps [depending on gear] increase over the passive alternative, so I didn’t even spec into it back then lol)

It was replaced with 10% reduced cooldown on Aimed Shot/Rapid Fire, which should help make us feel less Arcane Shot Spammy.

It still bothers me they made a big PvE change because of PvP though. I’m personally happy they removed Double Tap cause I hate it, but I know plenty who hate the change.
