I never thought it would happen…

I love coffee.

I’ve been prohibited from drinking coffee. And tea. And booze. And I am sad.

And no, it’s not the caffeine.

Probably better for me in the long run tho.

I do, and I have not yet seen those.

They have them at the convenience store down the road from me. Not too bad. Of course strawberry is the best.

I…

I would throw myself off the pyramid in Zuldazar if I couldn’t drink coffee or tea.

I gave up booze quite early in life myself because I like being fit. But… no coffee or tea? I couldn’t

There are some drinks for some people that require the factoring in of “quality of life”. Sure drinking less coffee may make you healthy but if you snap and murder someone because you didn’t have coffee you’re not going to get those health benefits for long.

[Caffeinated or not, coffee linked with longer life | News | Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health] hsph.harvard.edu/news/hsph-in-the-news/coffee-longer-life/)

People assume coffee is unhealthy. The sugar and whatnot we add may be, but coffee is life

I wish they had better/more convenient sugar-free drinks out there, but they really don’t.

I mostly drink Diet Dew because it’s conveniently packaged in 24oz bottles, which is almost perfect for most meals, and it’s sugar-free so I don’t end up diabetic, and it has a modest amount of caffeine since I can’t drink coffee (can’t stand the taste of the stuff).

I’ve been searching for a long time for a sugar-free flavored drink to have with meals (I can’t drink water with food, eeew) but… pretty much all sugar-free options are either…

1). Too expensive
2). Too difficult to find
3). Too inconvenient
4). Cause other problems (like too much milk causes kidney stones)

So I’m stuck with Diet Dew for the foreseeable future until somebody makes something else that is widely available and meets my needs.

I usually do well, drinking water and coffee, but some days I just throw in the towel, chug half a bottle of vodka and chase it with some weed, and try again tomorrow.

If you want some nice flavored water, try Hints.

…My man ….

$22.99 for 12… count them… twelve 16oz bottles.

This is what I mean by “too expensive”.

Dear Lord, who do they think can actually afford that?

EDIT: To put that into perspective, I get a 6-pack of 24 (not 16) oz Dt. Dew for $5.98.

That’s like half the price for 30% more.

Flavored water is kinda dumb, pointless and worthless. Flavored water is so off putting that I’d rather drink river water. Why drink flavored water when it doesn’t remotely look like it should? Sight, smell and taste all need to work together for a good drinking experience.

And what gets me, is that it’s (most of the time) sold at such a high price that it just boggles the mind.

$2 for a 16oz bottle?

That crap better be Ambrosia for that price.

Same thing with those Fiji Waters. I drank one of those once, because it was literally the ONLY option available… and…

Despite it being more than 2x the price of regular water… couldn’t tell the difference. Like, at all. It was marginally better than Aquafina which is just tap water run through a filter, but compared to regular ole spring water? Same thing.

Flavored water is nasty tasting. If that crap doesn’t look, smell or taste strongly of what it’s trying to imitate, you are better off drinking regular water or a juice based on the flavor you want.

And if you REALLY want flavor in your life, buy a flavored drink that ISN’T water.

Life isn’t about being bland and boring.

Well, with me, I can’t stand drinking water with food.

It has to be something with solid flavor behind it, and yeah, flavored water…

It tastes like, you know, you take water, and drop some tiny amount of juice or something in it so you get really watered down juice. It’s rather ick.

Now there is kool-aid and its clones, and I actually buy some generic sugar-free drink mix to sip at now and then, but only a few flavors are actually tolerable, and those are the strong flavors like cherry.

EDIT: It also doesn’t help that flavored water has the same consistency as plain water. Sodas are fizzy, milk is thicker than water, and so it feels different than water in your mouth. Even that drink mix feels different than water.

Good job, alcohol addiction is bad

Drink tea. A bit of caffeine is good for you and its full of antioxidants

Energy drinks a horrible for you. A cup or two of coffee is fine or some tea but that is about it.

I drink tonic water with a squirt of lime juice and packet of stevia on crushed ice.
