I was just listening to Illidan’s final speech to us again, and I just really miss him. “But much more will be asked of you… so much more. Even now our enemies gather, and the shadows grow darker. I leave the rest to you.” ILLIDAN, I don’t want this responsibility! This world is F’ed! Come back and help us! Right after Legion we all jacked everything up.

Don’t talk them into bringing him back, he’s cool but twice was enough for one character.
How is it not the same to play same character that hasn’t change since it’s first appearance?

No thanks. I liked him before they made him some misunderstood hero, but when they altered his story it made his whole story come across as hollow to me. Obviously it’s personal preference as to what someone likes and doesn’t but that’s how I feel about it.
Eventually we’ll either release Sargeras or he’ll escape or something and we’ll truly fight him. I doubt it will be for a long while but whenever that happens our edgy little hero will show up again.
I’ve always liked the concept of the anti-hero in fantasy. And I think Illidan embodies this concept pretty well and probably why he is my favorite character in the franchise.

He’ll come back in the future when we release Sargeras to help us fight the void lords and see the reason the legion was doing what they did with our own eyes
