Oh yeah, that one’s great. Have you seen them spawn on an elevated part of the floor and then float over you team’s heads out of reach and still buff the mobs? That one is pretty rad, too.
I think it’s perfect the way it is, more so with the buffs.
The only way it’ll be even better is if it spawned at the exact moment we have to kill a priority add and when we inevitably die because people are too thick to focus it down, Xal cackles and the audio clip, “Too late!” plays 10 times in a row.
This game truly feels like it is in late stage beta.
I hope Blizz hotfixes tomorrow so that each add has double the HP of a tyrannical boss and when it dies it does an unavoidable AoE that kills everyone in the dungeon and Xalatath says something like “That’s what you get for trying to play M+” and then your key gets deleted from your bag and you have to start back from a +2 key. If they implemented this, maybe M+ would finally be enjoyable, engaging, and challenging.
I just watched a group on Twitch that was doing a +9 Stonevault. An add spawned every single shield phase on Skarmorak. They barely killed it and most ppl in the group are 620+ pumpers.

That’s what they get for doing a +9 key, pathetic. Should have been running a +12 key!
No lie, a +12 is probably easier than a +10 or +11 right now. Maybe even some 9s.
I was looking at the WoWhead post and people are commenting on there confirming at 12s are now, in fact, easier than 11s this week. Someone said they had 1.2 billion damage done to the affix at the end of an +11 mists. Absolutely bonkers.
I personally wanna know which one was it… which concussion did Blizzard take to buff this affix 133%? I think I saw 860m health in an 11? Thats boss level health or near pushing it
I’m just hoping that someone fat fingered by accident or mistyped and put and extra “1” and made it 133% instead of 33% or something. I mean it can’t be possibly true that M+ devs are this stupid.
It’s been reverted. But the CDR buff was kept apparently.
I’m sure we’ll get a developer’s note explanation any minute now…
Even with the reversion we are basically popping cooldowns to kill them and getting the cooldowns back up just to get to pop them to kill these again!
This happened to my group last night as well. Also in Mists, every single time we broke Droman and went to burn Ingra there was the damn add shielding them now.

Yesterday the Affix was alligning perfectly with every add spawn possible in NW (it was +9). First boss and Second boss were taking more than 5mins to get to 20%. We couldn’t kill the second boss because eventually we ran out of cds and in the fourth add spawning + affix 1 skeleton remained and we got 1shot’d.
This affix keeps you combat locked. A huge L to the healers who already have to carve out drinking time whenever they can.

I think they did test it. And it’s working as intended, to drag out play time and reduce success rate.
This hotfix lasted just in time for me to brick two of my groups 9 keys. GIVE ME BACK MY 9 KEYS YOU COWARDS!!!
Yah it should despawn when you kill a pack or boss.
