And not attempts to fix problems with war-mode at all…but only when the horde cry that they are getting farmed.

Alliance can get this buff too, allowing people to visit the key face queen and go back to Oribos without disabling/re-enabling WM.
It’s a good fix that the Alliance will probably be enjoying soon enough.
Alliance still keep their 25% bonus for WM.

I don’t even use WM except when I’m trying to tame a rare on my hunter. I just find it hilarious when both factions get the exact same change and the exact same benefit and the forums are filled with “hORdE biAs!!1!!!1!!”.
This is true, so many people gloating now… wait till the expansion slows down… then we will be using all the features to help us survive WM…
The timing is what people are skeptical of, not the fix.
This was an issue for alliance for all of BoFA, maybe even as far back as Legion on some servers and they were told to turn off warmode, horde have the issue and it’s fixed within 2 weeks. The result isn’t what’s important here, it’s the method.
It’s just like when mages weren’t good in ToT, some classes had been at the bottom of the pile for literal years and mages got their buffs to rocket them back to the top within 10 days.
I hope the Alliance forces just move out to the edge of of that new buffs range and wait for them to come out to quest. It just means you kill them while they are out farming instead of waiting for them to leave.
I can’t believe they caved in but given their history of bad judgement in faction balance I shouldn’t be surprised.
Next time horde starts with this crap, people are going to have to come on here and complain on 5 different alts each 5 people…
It could be because alliance got the buff, the extra quest, all the goodies and benefits and were also the majority on a lot of shards. In BFA alliance were outnumbered but the horde didn’t get to sit on bonus resources, quests and EXP on top of it.
I guess this was just easier than fixing the buff to be server or shard based instead of region based.
If the shoe was on the other foot and Horde were 40 man camping Alliance at the Maw entrance for whatever reason, there would absolutely have been no hotfix. Blizzard Devs and Horde players would be rolling their eyes and saying: “Just turn off War Mode. You can freakin’ do it RIGHT THERE.”
Blizzard actually went out of their way to give token representation to people who were paying attention to the plot Horde Side and thought it off that Sylvanas was blamed for what Sarufang did.
Meanwhile there’s no, “throw Anduin off a cliff” quest chain or a quest chain where you tell Tyrande and Malfurion in the most polite words possible to just shut up quest chain for the Alliance.

Why is it that some people instantly turn into the people they were arguing against and using their same arguments 2 or 3 months ago without any self reflection? It seems you’ve been around as long as I am, did you just ignore the forums until now? Alliance have gotten plenty of things fixed for them in the past.
In wPvP? please name a few.
Original windfury for starters, alliance complained endlessly about being 7hit in one flurry of windfury, I don’t think they fixed that till well after launch.

How about something that’s happened a bit more recently, not around the time my 13 year old kid was an itch in my pants.
that isn’t world pvp and how long ago was that anyway - 15 years ago. That was more a fix due to class/faction imbalance (I had to look it up).
