I know what you mean about the way the Talbuks used to run… they ran elegantly and as if they had long legs (because… they do)
And now they look like they are stomping around. I love my mammoth mounts but never use them because I have the yak. I dont mind their updated run animation as much as the other two.
Fortunately I don’t run on my hippogryphs much. My Nelf druid uses them.
I like the new animation for the mammoth. More in line with how an elephant actually moves.
The only one I have an issue with is the talbuks.
I do not understand why Blizzard thinks changing the long standing animations of various mounts is a good use of their devs’ time.
Especially when they ruin them:
If it is someone’s job to just code mount animations and they need to be doing something to justify their paycheck, a much better use of their time would be fixing this instead:
Or maybe increase their sphere of responsibilities and set them to fixing the long list of bugs that exists.
As I was reading this thread I remembered us talking about the dwarven rams. I can’t un see that rocking horse pattern now. lol

Yeah my grandma moved at 50% speed to… but she had a wicked right hook with that cane of hers and could pummel you to bloody in 2.3 seconds if you smarter your mouth off to her.
I’m really excited for the deer/stag mounts. They look so cool and cute.
I can’t wait to see others use them.
Your mog is going to work very well with most of them.
I am a fan of stags but kind of like the new fox mount as well.

Ik which is why I’m excited for them, but the mounts I really want are the ivory water serpent and the winter wilderling.
OMG SO CUTE. I also love these and I really love the vulpine mounts and am so UPSET that they’re not all mounts.
I like the new foxes too. They will also be an option for shammy ghost wolf I heard, which I think will be cool, especially for Vulpera shaman
Do you know how to unlock them? I made a shaman for this and was really excited for this fox form, because I think the ghost wolf is ugly and outdated.

No I have no idea, I haven’t looked too far into it. I’m hoping it’s a glyph I can make on my scribe
I hope it acts like the druid marks, so it’s a barber shop thing. (makes it account bound and a toggle)
