I know. Dreadful, isn’t? Imagine what could have been…
Whatever the truth of its origin, the blade is infused with the Old Gods’ power. Legends state that it can even grant its wielder visions of the Black Empire, though doing so inevitably drives the viewer mad.

I just hope Farondis shows up and takes her out.
I hope he goes to the Shadowlands
Literally the only reason N’zoth is alive now is because he is the weakest Old God. Explicitly stated. He’s alive because he at least knew how to lay low and let the other more powerful ones get themselves dealt with.
Talk to the old goddess who was imprisoned in a blade
I just want her dress but in black pls
Everything the legion did on azeroth is because of her. All the death is hard to ignore and nothing redeemable about her. Should have killed her in legion but we needed to leave a few loose ends of the game would have ended.
Not really, either way the Legion would have came, she just made it come earlier
Right? That’s one of the most confuzzling parts about BfA, like why shoehorn this artificial faction conflict that nobody really asked for into the expac if you’re planning to make it about Azshara anyway?
Just have us move from defeating the Legion into invading Nazjatar as a unified group (as retaliation for Azshara’s interference in Legion and the obvious threat she poses), would both make more sense and make it so the Horde and Alliance don’t look like bumbling children incapable of cooperation unless the world is in danger
They never said this in a Q&A. There is nothing “in the lore” that states this either.
As of right now it’s really only speculation that Xal’atath is another Old God.
im not sure if youre kidding or not?
shes done just about nothing except talk from the shadows. shes galvatron and the old god is unicron. he gave her power and she sitting underwater for thousands of years… doing nothing.
hes not a real prisoner, as a creature of the void hes beyond this mortal coil
Heh been waiting for her to pop her ever since I read the book about her, a century ago
As long as I actually get to smash my harpoon into her smug mug.
I want to drive a sword into your blood elf leader
Well he’s certainly not doing anything anyway.
I just want to annihilate the naga.
It’s a change for the better!
So it should be ez to get rid of him right?
Yes. ![]()
If we kill her, can we rename the zone to the north of Orgrimmar? Given the gobbo activity there, why don’t we call it Goblineregan?
In a manipulation contest with an Old God at best you can say she impressed him. At the end of the day, she is a pawn in N’Zoth’s plans, not an equal. If her sacrifice is needed to do his bidding he wouldn’t blink any of his eyes.
