I killed blackhand in blackrock foundry and he had no loot

yesterday i killed him on all my lvl 80 alts. but during one of the runs on my mage Hastimewarp, after killing him he never even sparkled showing he had loot. nothing sent to mail ethier. he did his starting rp lines and his death ones. i put in an in game ticket and was told to come here and post this.

What? On the Moon Guard server forums? There’s no way a GM told you to go to the server forums to post.

Go to Support or Bug page. Usually the loot will just go to your mailbox.

This is what my ticket said.

I completely understand how frustrating it must be to defeat blackhand and not receive any loot. That can definitely be disappointing!

To help us get to the bottem of this, I recommend reporting the issue again through our bug report forum. Your experience is really important to us, and it helps our development team investigate futher. You can do this by following this link: bug report forum. (then a link that leads here)

(oh im now seeing and bothering to read the small stuff after that. Which is office talk for “hey we dont care about your issues… bye”) Just a heads up, you wont receive a direct response in your ticket regarding the bug report, but rest assured that your feed back will be reviewed by our team.

Sooo in esseance. Heres an auto response, your never going to see your loot that bugged out for whatever reason and going to this fourm thing was pointless. Cool cool.

I cant wait until the next raid boss bugs out on me and i cant know that no one cares again. nice

Exact same thing happened to me! Ran the whole thing, killed him and he didn’t drop a thing… D:

same thing is happening in hellfire citadel.

I had 3 bosses that were not lootable, Blackhand was one of them. Nothing in the mail either.

I guess the best we can do it submit a bug report…

Ran Mythic Blackrock Foundry and 3 bosses did not drop loot or at least were not lootable. One of them was Blackhand.

Same thing happened to me today and it happened to me about a month or two back. Put in a bug report when it happened the first time. Frustrating to see how this is actually happening a lot and they dont really seem to care about it.

Had this happen today on two bosses in Blackrock. This is why it is quite humorous to see posts of anonymous GMs or former GMs talking about how “toxic the player community is” when they refuse to do anything to actually help with the game is broke. And yes, maybe their hands are tied, but if that is the case then the balance of blame towards a specific group goes to Blizzard leadership for taking the ability away from GMs to do much of anything. When an admin group that used to be helpful is suddenly not all that helpful at all, the obvious recourse for the player base of said game is going to be negative. What do they expect, a “Thank you so much for all that help even though you didn’t do anything but copy pasted your canned ‘I can’t do anything’ response! Most appreciated!”?

Depends on what you mean by “toxic”, if they’re talking about actual abuse from people seeking support, then that’s not humorous at all, even if they’re not being helpful they don’t deserve abuse. Especially if their own hands are tied.

If a company is stuffing you around it’s still not somehow justifying abusing the person on the other end of the line or being toxic, especially when they’re almost always not responsible for the specific issue and just trying to do their own job.

Just happened to me, going for the mount with the Collector’s Bounty going. Ran the whole thing. Waited for him to finish his speech, shot him. No loot.

I am not from MoonGuard but I found this post thanks to Google because I just had the same thing happen on Mythic Blackhand. Killed him on my mage with a single ice lance after he said his initial RP line… then he died, said his death line and I got saved to the instance. He’s unable to be looted. I logged out and back in, no mail or anything. Gotta love it. I hadn’t had an issue with something like this during the Collector’s Bounty event until now. It’s pretty lame that we are experiencing this bug over and over, and they aren’t even trying to fix it.

First time using my newly unlocked raid skip… no loot. Can you do a full game pass of fixing this stupid 20 year old bug blizzard? Killing things TOO FAST should NEVER be a problem, especially when u have legacy multipliers ensuring they die in one hit. JUST FIX IT GAME WIDE ALREADY ITS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS.

What really gets me is this: GM’s work for Blizzard. They receive a ticket about something that’s a known problem.

That blizzard employee takes the time to copy paste a response back to you to tell you that you need to go submit another report to a different employee with the same information you already sent THIS employee. Think about how silly that is? While getting my business management degree this is called “You are wearing the shirt”. Basically you work for the company, put forth that very slight bit of effort and YOU put in the bug report.

Are the GM’s not submitting anything on behalf of the player base when this sort of thing is going on? If not why not? There are literally no good reasons why they shouldn’t, please don’t say “not their job” because it quite literally is LOL

The company infrastructure probably doesn’t physically let them. And regardless, this doesn’t justify the sort of abuse you see hurled at customer and tech support workers.

There is a great opportunity here.

Blizzard Developers!.. Yeah, you!.. Make a new item in game. One you can ONLY get in a situation just like this… A cosmetic Shirt with a buff that says,

“I killed a Boss and all I got was this lousy T-shirt”

gives an achievement of the same name too.

Flimsy excuse. This is an easy change, and should be facilitated by the company. You have employees who are paid to handle issues with the player base, they can see that the affected situation is in fact caused by a bug, they admit as much, forward that on to the devs or whoever is doing the programming for repair. This is how it would be handled in any decent company. And for the record, the player base gets more abusive in response to poor customer service. Using copy pasted canned or potentially even A.I. responses to frustrating bugs that are occurring in game is infuriating. I see white knighting all the time in the forums about bad players but no one wants to talk about the elephant in the room, that being the poor customer service.

I agree, but that is down to the higher ups at the company, not the people answering tickets.

Copy-pasted templates and possibly AI responses aren’t at all comparable or an excuse for actual abuse and death threats mate. Nor do they make them “quite humorous”.

You can NOT put employees and customers on the same level, this is what you don’t seem to understand. Therefore the expectation of better behavior must ALWAYS fall on the employee. Copy pasted templates and AI responses therefore are on another level altogether. Having worked customer service myself in an online trading company, I never cared about abuse or swear words or anything else, it wasn’t me it was directed at, it was the company. Therefore why should I care? They don’t know my name. And generally all people are looking for is a “What can I do to help?” response. Blizzard in no way shape or form provides that any longer. Having been a conflict resolution specialist, and having trained many of the people I worked with in proper techniques to defuse and deescalate situations, reading the absolute nonsense that is provided on tickets by blizzard “gamemasters” is mind numbing. You are entirely ignoring what I already mentioned is the biggest issue causing all of the problems for the gamemasters: the gamemasters doing very little to actually help anyone and in many cases being snide and sarcastic in their responses. That’s uncalled for.

***EDIT: and seeing how badly this all works here LOL. Lordy.

I didn’t even know he played the lute. I pegged him as more of a bassist.
