I just turned off Warmode for the first time

Ah got it… only the elite WQ’s. I thought alliance could do all their incursion quests in raids .

You can only do the kill quests and the final part of the incursion (after you’ve done 4 wqs) in a raid. Rest have to be done solo or in a party.

Wrong. Some of us are fine with being run over by raids, since it’s avoidable. It adds to the skill of world PVP.

Yes, the PVE Alliance posted complaints back at the beginning of 8.0, before they figured out how to turn war mode off. That’s what’s happening with Horde now. One of the supposed “solutions” in the original post involves entirely removing the PVP aspect to a quest, which obviously defeats the whole point of doing the quest in war mode in the first place. Why can’t he just turn off war mode for that quest, instead of making the rest of us deal with watered down quests.

There were probably somewhere between 2-4 alliance raids just camping the Horde WQ locations on Drustvar the shard where I was at, and they were right at a terrain bottleneck.

There literally wasn’t any way around them.

To complete the incursion, I also had to turn off war-mode for the first time since the expansion’s release.

“some of us” quite obviously doesn’t equal the entirety of your factions players, now does it? And that’s a pretty bold and stupid statement anyway. I’d also point out that just purely by the fact that you and several other people rush to any horde post that could even moderately be attributed as “complaining” is pretty indicative of the obvious pent up frustration that you’ve had since 8.0.

Well facts remain that complain or not the number of horde on WM remain a lot more than alliance … outside of raid groups , alliance typically are fodder for horde at WQ and in the general world . Has been this way all of BFA.

There is like 5 horde for every alliance running solo.

No, It’s not a world PVP l2p issue.

It’s a LFG versus Elite WQ credit systems issue.

LFG server hopping causes wide population imbalances and shard-wide latency issues that make the game feel moderately unplayable in some circumstances where large numbers of players are joining the server.

There’s no excuse to suggest that any one of those incursion quests should require more than 5 players to complete; 5 players is more than sufficient for most BFA elite world quests, if not all – It’s a “people unnecessarily forming raids for things that they don’t need raids for” issue.

Not salty, I hate idiots. I’m currently neutral on the game, which is probably higher than most people, so why would I stop playing?

Seems like it was an oversight to allow the incursion elite quests to be completeable in a raid when they made all other elite quests not completeable in raid in the same patch.

That, and I think they should alter the LFG interface such that it doesn’t automatically ask the player if they want to convert after you hit the 5 player cap on a party.

That’s something you should have to do manually by looking at the raid interface. and hitting the convert button.

Glad to hear it man. I enjoy my fair share of trash talking and idiot stomping as well. Guess I had gotten the wrong impression.

The problem is that they actually didn’t do a great job by arranging the quests to encourage PvP because their servers are unable to handle the lag that it causes.

I do it in WoW too, the last 2 days actually. Got my alliance slayer title 5vzerg. Problem is GYs are too close so your small team can’t impact the zerg as much bc the dead are rezzed too fast. On top of that CC is too blanketed across classes and for too long… but quite honestly WoW just doesn’t compare.

Active dodging, skill recognition and countering, targetting instead of tab and click, and probably the thing i hate most is addons that essentially tell you what is happening or who you need to kill, what skill someone is about to use on you…these things take the place of player perception and lowers the skill ceiling significantly (Gladiatorlosa and the like). But i digress…

No, alliance cannot complete the incursion in a raid. With incursions there always seem to be 5 quest up (you only need to complete 4). Of the 5, there are 2 “elite” and 3 “normal”. The two elite can be completed in a raid, but the 3 normal cannot. So to finish the incursion you’ll have to do at least 2 outside a raid.

Ironically, the two elite are pretty much always, “kill one dude on the outskirts of the incursion where horde players are unlikely to show up,” while all the normal ones are always in the middle of the battle where a large Horde raid always is.

Uh… A rogue whining about one-sided PvP? Really? I gank people left and right, and cloak, vanish and run when the odds are no longer in my favor. Sometimes they still get me, most of the time I come back and get them… one at a time. I just can’t see how a rogue can complain about something not being fun or fair in PvP, when, if played right, you can reset the fight until you win nearly every time.
I did notice that you turn Warmode one after you’ve completed the quests. Doubtless that you’re going back and picking off stragglers, once the hard part is finished for you.

It’s only his second post. We should give him a participation ribbon for trying at least. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

He says it’s on his DK and paladin, of course his rogue isn’t going to have a problem.

Oh look. It’s the awful, back pedaling multi boxing Boomie that lives at Incursions. Moonfire x 5 makes you good at the game, right?

You should probably delete your account (all 5 of them).
