Oh of course. You’re always going to have people who are more understanding and compassionate than others. There are times in LFR where people explain what’s going on with the mechanics, what their role is, etc. Then there’s other people who complain that everything is taking too long and nobody knows what they’re doing and that they should all go die somewhere.

But honestly, I wasn’t good with certain raids until I actually understood what was going on. No one just knows everything, and researching isn’t the same as applying. Slip ups will happen.

Ohhh so everyone is starting from the beginning ? Ok :slightly_smiling_face:

At some point they have. I have just started doing raids and accept that I won’t be as knowledgeable or efficient as those who have done them for a long time. Just like starting a job in a new field.

Just realize that people are timing 27s (and now 28s) right now. Population base gets stretched thin at those levels. And don’t worry it is already small even at the all 15s level. 5% of reported Wowhead profiles, which means that is even less as a whole because that is a website that has people really Interested in wow. Thus they will trend to being better than average. So like 2-3% of all accounts.

If your definition of sucking is that then don’t feel bad. It’s not that you are bad, just that a really small amount of people are good.

You’re not wrong.

I think it’s even less. There’s a huge influx of people who come back at the start of the expansion then leave once they do the story, so almost all of those won’t be doing 15s. The remaining accounts who are here long term would probably be the type to sign up to WoWhead, and if only 5% of those accounts do 15s…

I would guess quite a bit less than 1%

Yeah I hope new players don’t get discouraged by some things that happen in game chat. The game is great and I am enjoying questing and the story. I even recently got two of the chronichle books

True but I tend to just really focus on continuous player base numbers. Makes things a little bit more honest. You know like how other mmos state, “Over X million accounts made!”, sort of thing but far less than 250-500k players going concurrently.

No doubt though, it really gets under my skin when (out of touch) people tend to view 2-3k io players (a few of my friends/guildees) as being bad at the game. Those people have a completely warped sense of reality cause they are always grovel at what top 10 guild players do. Never thinking for themselves.

Oh wow. So it looks like most people come for the story ? I thought wow was placing efforts on mostly raids

Third thing should be to transmog. A good mog massively increases your awesomeness, which can affect ones DPS.

I I guess it’s really competitive. I guess w lot of YouTubers have to reach for the higher difficulty levels.

You have all the time in the world. Just have fun, practice, try different things once you get comfortable.

BM Hunters are supposed to be pretty good so you got that going for you and you have friends in your guild.

Also, I’ve never met or seen a pro player. So there’s that.

Often when we think we’re under performing, there’s multiple reasons for it. Some of which we don’t hone in on.

For example, proper keybinds and things like UI displays are a huge part of this. Rotational understanding and conceptual too. The idea of uptime, and mimaxing. Sometimes it helps to have a higher experienced player show us things.

Don’t give up. One can always improve.

That 3rd addon is called QE dungeon tips, it’ll give you a small box of information of what’s important for each boss encounter

Thanks. It’s good to know that I can get some people to help me :slightly_smiling_face: I am trying to get my freind in to wow also… I even offered to pay for his first month
