There were a lot of people on the path (pretty evenly split between factions), but most people were either questing or kind. The ganking even took place next to the graveyard on the way. 
About a week ago I ran from Duskwood to Booty Bay at level 10. Obviously it was a death run. Those awful cats in STV…
