I did read the original post, looks like you didn’t read my first post.
If you level alts, it’s well worth your time to get Pathfinder done. Pathfinder only compliments alts.
It takes an hour a day, 4 weeks tops to earn WOD Pathfinder now. Get it done.

welcome to Ion vision/immersion. This is what they want get people use to not flying. If you do want flying = more time played by going back doing old achiev.

It’s been this way forever.
If you didn’t get the Frostsaber in Classic, you have to go back and grind for it.
If you didn’t get your Crusader title in Wrath, you have to go back.
If you didn’t unlock the Molten Front in Cata, you have to go back.
Just because the xpac isn’t current anymore doesn’t mean it’s features needs to be handed to you.

They actually have… well kinda… they didn’t add the pathfinder part, they just made the legacy flying license a “buy once, keep forever for all your account”.
I would. I did it on two accounts just so I wouldn’t be in your situation.
They are making it easier and easier to get - you really have no excuse not to do it now.
There is no good reason.
The reason is pride and hubris on the part of the developers.
This is the reason why I still have my hunter at level 88. I don’t want to go to WoD without flying. I’ll wait for a friend with flying to level with me.
blizz’s reason for locking flying doesnt become obsolete as the time goes by

Because you don’t need flying to level up much like heirlooms (if you really want it you can still obtain it nobody is stopping you) and wod/legion is still faster leveling without flying than bc/wotlk and classic.
Tbh they probably just haven’t gotten around to it.
WoD is so easy to level through though
No flying = a bunch of extra walking time. I dont have time for that.
It would seriously take nearly 40 hours? At that rate I’ll just make 40 hours of overtime at work for tons of character boosts.
Doesn’t it take like 5 hrs to level through WOD anyways?
You can always buy a boost if you “don’t have time for that”.

Nah I’ll wait for that one guildie that has a 2 person flying mount and flying unlocked to begin leveling up a character through WOD.
It don’t need the be a debate between Pathfinder and buying flying for each expansion. They should just make the 280% flying give flying for everything up to new expansion.
I’m pro-flying and old expansions flying don’t matter much, you’ll waste 5-6 hours more than someone with it at best. It’s just entitled to feel like they should give it to you. On that point, I don’t mind pathfinder if there was no part 2. Flying should be obtainable at the start of an expansion, even if requiring intense farming.
