If “other games” aren’t a choice and you really want to stay in the WoW universe, two good choices are:
- Classic
- Battle Pets
I abandoned my Classic char at 52 but still had a fun few weeks, and I’m still on the second one there.

I would like to do some raids, Mythic+ but I am such a bad player that I do not wish to join a group only to be a liability as opposed to an asset. That is why I get bored at times.

This ^^ Find some goals in game particularly in older content if that interests you. Its a great time to do so and then once Shadowlands hits we’ll have a whole host of new and relevant things to tackle. 
LOL. For some reason 450-460 is when I lose all interest as well. I have 4-5ish with around that ilvl, around rank 7 cloak, and workable essences.

End game for me is world quests, and making new alts. It is what I enjoy.

Levels are so overrated, just make a ton of alts and run around until you get to level 20 or so. Once you’re they’re, you’re practically as good as the current Mythic raiders and you should start dueling them.

Finding a group to push difficulty with is fun, guilds or even just people you have a good time with in dungeons / pvp.
Been making fun of Bloodelf players for 13 years. Never gets old

I enjoy leveling new toons from time to time, particularly classes I hadn’t played yet. My guild also decided to play as the opposite faction and level alts on a different server, which was fun for a few weeks until most of us kinda stopped.
work on pumping those numbers up. see how high you need to get your ilvl in order to start hitting your servers top 100 list. (not that ilvl really matters in this patch, but it can be a fun pastime)
try farming mounts, transmogs, pets, toys in old dungeons and raids or in the open world.
give pet battles a go, and be the very best like no one ever was~
work on unlocking some allied races or go back and work on legion content. maybe unlock a few of the obtainable Druid skins.

a friend of mine has 29 lvl 120 alts and each of them are 450 ilvl. try some leveling if youre bored. 
it only takes a few days to hit 450 ilvl, if you know what to do. and only a few days to level up to 120 with the current xp bonus.

tbh the cloak is super demotivating I only play like 3 characters atm despite having all tanks at 470+ because the other 3 are only like cloak rank 8.
