How would the visage form even work in combat anyway? This morning an evoker attacked me while using some sort of shenanigans to appear as a human and it was the silliest thing i’ve seen in awhile. Just a human female floating around completely still as fire and stuff rains from her. It was a good laugh before i murdered them.

No lie! Though I’m getting old, it won’t last forever. So it goes.

Honestly though, wish we could turn off the cosplay scaly junk and make a Visage that looks more like Alexstrasza. Just the horns and eyes. I look dragon enough as a dracthyr.

edit: Oh you mean before booting into the game. My bad. I thought you meant when creating your character.

I’m sorry you’re confused on which form you identify with. Good luck with your journey. It can be tough being transdracthyr, but hopefully people are understanding.

Blizzard should show both Dracthyr AND Visage forms in the Armory. It’s hard to show off our cool mogs when they’re only visible in Visage form.

I made my visage form look a lot like azula from avatar and i get super excited seeing her

I think you missed the word “identify as” it means more than being comfortable playing a character, I mean its fine if you do, I like werewolves aswell, but that doesn’t mean I identify as a wolf, or werewolf.

Being an “otherkin” and identifying as something else is something different.

If one even takes the game so serious. I just enjoy playing a humanoid-dragon, because of shows like American Dragon. Always wondered what it would be like to play as a dragon that wasn’t 50 feet tall but humanoid size.

I absolutely love it. I think they look unique and I love how I made mine.
I also like my dragon form too. I just like the race. Some people don’t.
They have that choice. Doesn’t make them right :wink:

The visage form looks like trash. I never liked the Blood Elf model. I dislike the visage even more.

I love my character in visage form, it’s like a larger curvier elf body.

Agree. But pointless to even have a visage form if it is not possible to actually play/combat in that form.

Agree with the op 100%.

I don’t mind the dragon form, but honestly I much rather play as a humanoid - although I’m perfectly fine with turning into dragon with the flight stuffs. But spell casting, etc - def humanoid!

Well, this character doesn’t feel like me at all so don’t really identify with this character that is very likely to be my main in DF, especially since it’s not a human male with my real life name like my first character was, but yeah, I do prefer the visage form, the Dracthyr look really silly if you ask me, it would be awesome to stay in visage form and be sorta like a sorcerer in WoW.

Also, it’s the only way I can justify mounting up as a Dracthyr.
