No problems on my PVE server … you made a bad choice it seems, stop blaming others.
Well, bye… no one cares. You won’t be missed.
it has nothing to do with hating pvp.
it has to do with the simple fact that i cannot win 1 v 40 lvl 60s in mc gear and epic mounts because my faction is sitting at home.
i want to pvp.
i can’t beat raid groups in raid gear.
Then wait for BGs and you should be fine.
No, who are you kidding, yourself?
Players who leave the game for reasons having to do with disliking something about the game are unlikely to come back anytime soon. If they do it is several expansions later.
This is exactly what you’ll hear if you ask around in classic. I heard it over and over again. And I hear the same thing in retail from players who quit several expansions ago and finally came back, only to leave again.
It’s the rule rather than the exception.
So, those who get disgruntled and leave, come back and do the same thing?
Is that what you are saying “the problem” is?
There are plenty of reasons to leave the game. All of which are fine. Why should this game be different from every other game that’s ever been played in history?
I don’t even know what your point is.
Many millions of players have left the game. Some left for real life reasons, but many left for changes to the game that they found less fun. Some were outraged about those changes.
Most of these people will never come back. Many who do decide to give it another try will leave again after finding things they hoped had changed for the better to be worse instead.
I don’t know why you think losing that many customers is a “people” problem that should be ignored. Over 100 million accounts have been lost over the years. That’s a lot of “people” problems to slough off as “not a problem”.
You may have mis-clicked, as this is marked a reply to my comment.
I think they are trying different fixes. Majority faction-only transfers was the first. No idea how well it did work, but it doesn’t seem to have been the sutures some people were hoping.
Now they’re releasing BGs on Dec. 10. If there’s more data indicating that’s not enough, they’ll try something else, too. Maybe faction queues.
And, ‘easy’ is a relative term. See the bug that delayed transfers last weekend.
Not only is that the only thing they needed to do, but it is the only thing they can do.
As soon as BG’s offer more honor-per-hour than world PvP, everyone will go to BG’s. Why do you think the WPvP people want so badly to stop BG’s?
Don’t you think it is odd that the same people trying to stop BG’s are claiming that BG’s won’t change anything.
They have been saying “BG’s killed WPvP” for the last 15 years, and now have the gall to claim that BG’s won’t change anything. A bunch of liars. No wonder they love this sadistic version of wow and are trying to hold onto it as long as they can, they all have personality disorders.
Im fully intent on farming anyone i see in the world after bgs come out. Im here to pk not to farm gear that doesnt keep up to pve gear
Then you’re what’s wrong with the commmunity not wanting a community by pushing them away
Wrong.
My guess is you are on a PVP server. That is why it is impossible. We’ve known that for 15 years, which is why they removed them and put in Warmode.
Seriously, how did some of you not figure this out? I figured it out in 2004, during the Vanilla beta phase where they made it a PVP server, “Hey, I can tell this is NOT for me… So good deal, not wasting that time when this thing goes retail!”
I was just looking at how many of the threads were about PVP, on the front of the Classic Forum; I lost count after 24. So most of the threads are about PVP problems. Again, where have you people been? Have you not played Wow during the last 15 years? Have you not read the forums? Did you think things would somehow be different?
You should have quit months ago.
How did people not see this coming?
People that role alliance on pvp servers then get mad because they are on a pvp server and get ganked are beyond special to me
As is your right. GLHF. Maybe tBC
Everything Blizzard touches dies. What’s new?
This is the result of several generations being told that their opinion matters.
Honestly, I can’t blame alliance for quitting. What fun would it be to get camped, not be able to quest or enter instances without being ganked? I’m all for PvP, but they can’t really fight back or do anything significant when they make up less than 35% of a server’s population.
I feel that maybe if servers were more balanced… people might be crying less, as PvP could be a two way thing… on most servers, horde are far more represented and therefore control most of the zones. Either way, I’ve seen less and less alliance logging on (on both my horde chars, but also my 58 alliance toon). A drop in subs can not be healthy for the game… no matter what one’s stance is.
