thheres no prestige, its purely ‘i was there’ mount, why? it doesnt need to be, u can keep this in game so players can still earn after df launches, nothing stopping u!

I like FOMO stuff like mage tower, and I really like having things other people can’t get. Oh, and yes there are tons of thing’s I wish I had that I don’t and I still like FOMO anyway.

People would be mad if the mount was a prestige mount. Having a few “I was there!” trinkets in an already tiny bucket of limited time rewards lets people who don’t engage in competitive content have something collectable.

If you’re genuinely not having fun now, just go. And I’m not saying that rudely. I agree with you. They don’t seem to be changing significantly. BFA/Shadowlands disasters should have shown them that something serious needed to be done and they gave us Dragonflight.
It’s alright, if you enjoyed BFA/Shadowlands.
I’m going to get it and do my usual quest the zones, do the five mans until they get boring. See if I can make some new friends. If I do, I’ll stick around as long as they do. If I don’t, I’ll leave.

Good thing is, even though I want it, I refuse to give in and download classic/play classic. 0 interest in it. I am tired of hoop jumping and doing stuff I don’t want to do/that I don’t find fun.

I personally just think the mount could have been better 
The ICC glory mounts are right there, and they could have made HD remakes. Or just take that same style for a proto-drake. Not worth it if you’re not already on classic, imho.

I never played any “Classic”. I joined in WOTLK. I will say, things advance and I have 0 desire to go backwards. Can’t queue into dungeons? Hard pass.

When I first joined you had to manually travel to the dungeons. Very soon after dungeon finder got added. Was like the best change ever. Heck in current content I still hate travelling to the dungeons. It’s just a huge waste of time, it isn’t fun or engaging. Not sure why they like to make us waste so much time just to do something we actually want to do.

Wait the undead proto was a fomo mount? They said prepatch, but there was no indication anywhere that it would end on launch.

It should be part of the BMAH, like the anniversary mount “deathwing” model.
Due to removed/promotional mounts, Mount collectors don’t get frequent achievements.
Ion mentioned that they don’t want to set the bar for mount achievements high due to removed/promotional content, it’s just a really bad design because they can just do achievements based on the overall mount number in game.
