I hate titanforging

Then you are purposefully overlooking other people’s arguments if they don’t follow that trend. People have argued it has bloated loot tables, that it has forced raid encounter values to be based on a greater assumption, that players have less control of their gear and consequently their output, that there’s an imbalance between player progression, that gear has lost value.

There are so, so many more reasons why these systems are bad, that people have explained countless times but you clearly overlook it because it would shatter your narrative.

Wrong, I never gloated I said I support it with 100% guild groups.

We’ve gone over this already. It was already 100% chance. Before forging there still was no guarantee you would be able to achieve all your goals before the next tier rolled around and you started over again.

You’re right. Those people shouldn’t have to repeat themselves and titanforging should have been deleted from the game a long time ago. Thanks for understanding.

You are wrong too. I have joined 80% guild groups before in Group Finder with ML even though the posted rules were roll for MS before OS and had loot stolen and opened tickets with CS.

No it wasn’t. The only thing you had to worry about before was the damn thing dropping. Now its…

Did it drop? Did it forge? How many ilvls? Does it have a slot? Does it have a tertiary stat?

Also PvPers had a vendor and could choose Heroic quality gear. Now there’s no choice and the gear is still RNG. Also valor points say hello.

titanforging sucks.

At least it was possible within reason.

There was always the chance that it would never drop before you moved on.

And what if it doesn’t forge? It doesn’t have a slot? It doesn’t have a tertiary stat? That suddenly precludes you from being able to fulfill your role?

You guys act like the game is being balanced around everyone being decked out in these things, but if that were true then no one would be getting anything done.

They are little bonuses that makes life slightly easier. Not things that make or break your character.

Mythic Battle of Dazar’Alor says Hi.

Sure it can, it can make you lose your spot in that roster in that guild should someone else get “luckier”.

These aren’t Little.

Wrong. One of the guilds I joined was because of joining them in Group Finder.

One has nothing to do with the other.

Just view war/titanforging as a nice, occasional upgrade rather than something you need to have, It works better that way.

How is that at all relevant to what I replied to? You don’t take responsibility for yourself and that’s somehow negated because you liked one of the groups you joined?

That’s nonsense.

The raid where the top two guilds said almost all of the bosses were undertuned and too easy?

Pretty sure if you have two players of the same class with relative gear, the raid leader is taking the more skilled one, regardless of who is luckier.

It breaks gear progression. Because that means that you can get an upgrade from doing anything. Instead of being able to map where your upgrades are going to come from and targeting your gameplay around it, you’re left guessing and doing random things in hopes that something forges. Yeah. I could do Mythic raiding and have a chance at Mythic quality gear or I can just do this random invasion in hopes that I get an upgrade through shear luck. Which happened to me by the way.

When they decided to trade linear progression for a slot machine the enjoyment of getting gear became bland for myself and many others.

You are talking nonsense. If people lie about loot rules on Group Finder they should take responsibility for themselves.

Yeah. You see what I mean? I’m so glad that this is not just coming from me. I said the exact same thing.

They always make the first few 2 bosses relatively easier ( and by the trend easier than the last few of heroic bosses if you look back at Uldir / Antorus ), but good luck passing the dps checks starting from the Grong and onward, that and Jaina.

If they’re even on skill, the one with the most sockets / titanforges will outperform the other on the meters / percentiles and take their spot. Being from a former Mythic background, a few dps were replaced. Dime a dozen.

Plus a suboptimal piece you weren’t trying to get might titanforge with a socket. So why even bother to plan your BiS list?

How many others is the interesting piece of the puzzle we’re missing. It’s impossible to tell whether the trade-off was actually worth it. The devs seem to think so.

They can change their mind at any time as to how they want to distribute loot if they are the master looter. removed by moderation

If you want to be schooled we can go down that route to. There are no repercussions for master looters giving out loot however they want. They are, by definition, taking responsibility for their actions. You, however, are not. What a joke. People who make tickets over issues that aren’t against the rules shouldn’t even be able to join groups in the finder until they prove they have matured to at least tweenager levels.
