you can hide information and i have to think that is what some people did first thing because I can see some people’s armory and not others.
also it appears i have read 1049 posts in an hour so I think time to get off here for the day.

Seconding this. My recruitment thread is the same one I’ve been running since march and it was only a few pages. I only bumped it when necessary and now I can’t do it at all even though I’m the thread creator. My post has actually brought in a fair bit of my guild members so now I guess it will just keep falling into the infinite scroll void until someone not me decides to say something. If I make a new recruitment thread it just feels unnecessary and spammy.
I also have a major server event (that is going into its 9th year) that takes 2, sometimes 3, posts to get all the info out and the signups going. I guess now I’m going to need to find someone I can cajole into making an easy to skip junk post just so I can do this even though it’s my own thread and event. How that helps anyone is beyond me. All it does it clutter a thread on an already cluttered forum system.
First, the issues with guild admin and now this.
I think its just going to take some time to get used to, but yeah its definitely different!
Love it totally
I haven’t tried it on Mobile yet but I’m really digging the notifications and editing options. I really like it so far.
It’s literally a forum board guys… Just get used to it and move on.
Looking good.
I like the layout, but I’m not currently on my phone. It seems straight forward and easy to navigate. Yes, I do like the new forums and the options it brings.
I just wish there was a “classic” mode for the forums. I mean there has to be a way to make it look and handle like the old forums while having all the new features under the hood. But I guess that must be too much effort.
I don’t know that I like or dislike it so far. Certainly different.
It’s slow to load threads for me now. Not super slow, but just a small difference. I figure it’s something still being worked on
Interesting. I imagine they still need to figure out how much of a resource demand there is.
it does feel cluttered, but then again its brand new. Gotta give it some time to soak in and get used to it.
I don’t think it is about effort but Blizzard wanting a uniform look to their forums across all of their games.
The one downside I have found is that I want to put emojis on everything.
Common reaction when major change happens. People said the exact same thing on the last forums and the ones before that. The next ones the same posts will happen. Give it time.
I like it.
This is going to take time to get use to. I still do not understand what was the problem with the old one. Of course this does have more features, so I guess it was time to upgrade.
Also hate it, also hate what it will quickly become. The Overwatch forums suck, they’re rated G, even saying “comicbook swears” like #$%&ing and f*** will get you a temp ban (written intentionally, wanna see what happens) , they’re pretty much automated, and this “improvement” lacks basic features that the old forums had like blocking people and underlining text.
Phone unfriendly, IDGAF that someone is replying to the thread I’m in, will probably suck up more data while doing so… there’s tons of work that needs to be done. Just like their recent games, released before it’s ready.
PS: I f****g DESPISE Endless scrolling.
I hear that. I also dislike the fact it asked for permission to show me notifications on my home screen. Why?
