This. I hate this AV discord grind. I wish blizzard would do something about the PVP meta so we could actually play some fun and interesting WSG matches and the PVP grind would be distinguished by at least a small part of skill, and winning games with a tight group of friends, instead of premade zergs with strangers.
They should just release BC in March.

Look I want to farm the nice AV rep gear because my compulsive completionist demon on my left shoulder says the OH is BiS. But the angel on the right shoulder says don’t be a tool and think that will make one iota of difference in any real PVP encounter or boss fight and that the 50 plus hours spent in a queue for boring content that people already did 15 years ago will feel rewarding when your frostbolt hits loot pinata #8 for 2 more damage.
If you don’t like AV and are playing wow classic to be the best geared ever, I hate to break it to you but somebody beat you to it 180 months ago. Do what you enjoy, otherwise go away and stop whining.
WPVP honor rewards should always Trump the controlled environment of BGs and I hope they change it when most of these people leave when Shadowlands comes out so Classic can cater to the people that actually want a living breathing at war azeroth.
Dunno why group matching and teleporting into a BG is fine, but group matching and teleporting into a dungeon ruins immersion. Make them walk into AV.
