would you rather fly on a airplane?
Who would say, and have you thought about having your own original Goblin Zeppelin or your own Warship faction like those of FFXIV have their whale mount for more players?
If already passed with the Longboi mount and with the octobrain for 5 player mount, Blizzard would go too far in ideas for mounts.

Regular flying speed will feel like first tier flying speed when compared to DF speed.
Two things I donât see happening. A hover mechanic getting added to dragon riding or Soar becoming a permanent ability for Dracthyr.
The expansion could have shipped with both but thatâs not Blizzardâs way of thinking. They gave us flying from Day 1 in DF, albeit an altered form, and that was their solution to appease, and itâs better than being grounded and having to wait to jump through pathfinding hoops to access normal flying.
Druids will have the gathering advantage again when normal flying is allowed in DF zones. Dragon ride for the speed to nodes, dismount midair, swap to travel form, and gather on the fly. But flightform, and regular flying for that matter, is going to seem so slow because of the height of the terrain.
I got a great way to fix this whole issueâŚlet the player decide which flying they want to use and let them turn off one or the otherâŚif I want to use normal slow flying then my Dragon Flying is shut off and canât be activated for lets say 2 weeks or moreâŚor off for all of the DF expansion, I really donât care I hate DR esp for my herbing and mining.

bro just fly around n get all the talent points took me like 20min on launch. and dont use fly forward use upward talent and figure out a way to always be flying slightly downwards for constant recharge, its wayyyyyyyyyyyyy faster than 310 once u figure out how to keep recharging

No reason regular flying mounts shouldnt be allowed in the dragon isles. it literally hurts absolutely nothing to allow regular flying mounts.

Letâs keep in mind that if this were any other expansion since WoD, we would have no flying at all for another 9 months-1 year. If you want things the way they would be without dragonriding, the alternative is ground mount, not regular flying mount.

I hope we can swirl-dismount lazy players on their AFK flying mounts by zooming really fast on them as they go 30mph in the fast lane.
I hate riding on the back of a dragon. I hate having to manage my flying while going relatively in a straight line. But I do agree itâs much faster and with angling down while using surge upward will allow you to regenerate your vigor relatively decently. There are times when I have to land and wait for it to regenerate because I am gliding slower than a 310 mount or all of a sudden, I just start falling toward the ground.
I have done everything I can to make my dragon mount look like my normal mount in every other part of the game. I wish they would allow us to transmog our dragon mounts to look like our favorite mount. I do find myself a lot hitting my dragon flying abilities when I am on my normal mount. But given the choice I will only use the dragon riding mount if I need to get to an event otherwise, I would prefer my slower stead donât need to think Swift mount.
Do people afking in town bother you this much as well?

Or the alternative is how it was handled prior to WOD: Available at level cap for gold, and none of the now shown-to-be-total-garbage âgotta micromanage the content consumptionâ nonsense of Pathfinder after being flightless for a year or more.
Given that Pathfinder didnât make any of their post-WOD products demonstrably more successful, they donât need to continue the practice.

Did I say anything about people being AFK in town?
In war-mode you can dismount players with dragon-riding and I hope it will work the same way with those who choose to use regular flying mounts, but theyâll be even easier targets in the sky since theyâre much slower in the air.
You are offended by them being afk flying. So why not in town?
Itâs needed in war-mode because you are actually in battle with people. You arenât at battle with everyone that is hovering.
