There’s tons of groups who spend a lot on minis. Some of them have always wanted female space marines, it’s not some woke conspiracy from the outside, it’s just something some people want and some don’t. And if GW comes to the conclusion they’d make more money with them than without them then they’ll find a way to fit them in.
Yep. A guild leader on Area 52 whispered me and asked a few questions, then invited me. We (the guild as a whole, in guild chat, like 5 people at the time) talked about normal things, memed about Brann quotes, then I logged off after silently grinding dungeons for a couple hours after that.

I always have found it hilarious that in media where transhumanism is on full display being trans is somehow an issue. We got people mind melding with machines in universe, I think genderswapping is like really mild on that. I know if we had the ability to augment ourselves in real life majorly and I could afford it, I’d be on that trip all day everyday.

I don’t follow, sorry. The people I know in that state are fine people, some of the nicest people in the country. It’s when leadership molds their goodwill into “us vs. them” that we will find conflict.
As free men and women, we are able to follow a religion we choose (if any). As an agnostic person myself, I support my brothers and sisters in their ability to believe in a religion, just as I should have their support to not follow any. Baghdad was once a city of great culture and wisdom, developing the fundamentals of science. I hope we can continue to be good to each other, at the very least, to avoid the future of what Baghdad became.

Even Squenix doesn’t ban people over this, you can find people posting “come join our conservative guild, beat back the LGBT!” and the worst they get is harassed in chat because it’s ridiculous.

You realize that people can make their own female space marines right now, right? Like…that’s half the fun of the hobby. I don’t see GW introducing female Astartes any time soon, but Custodes aren’t that, and I doubt the company gives a crap if a handful of misogynists leave in a huff because the “sacred lore was ruined!!!”

It won’t be the small number of hardcores you think will turn their back on the franchise if GW makes that choice.
It’ll be alot more, that a franchise like Star Wars can fall doesn’t mean anyone else is immune to the same kind of fate.
The best part is that it’s deep lore with questionable canonicity.
Especially since it only works as long as you ignore the near-contradictions the Sororitas force on the narrative.
The Sisters basically tread the line of “oooo but what if we had a gene seed, w/e that actually is since it’s never really detailed that much outside of specific examples of its influence.”

I got a chat restriction in like… season 1 of DF I think? A 3 day long one. I donno if the “next step” is a week long vacation. That one was because I cussed in trade chat, and didn’t know it was a rule to not do that.
I’ve never seen that. But I’m surprised they don’t punish that.
Had a few vocal people on my World posting it often. FC is still up and they’re still on, but they post less than they used to.
I’m not sure how it works in WoW. I don’t think I’ve ever been actioned in-game. Only on the forums and on SC2/Overwatch.

Oh please, GW is just in it for the money. If they think there’s enough demand there than some long forgotten fleet will drop out of the warp with a new all woman chapter of the space marines that had been lost since the old days and since written off as a myth or something.
