I give up on your horrific visions

Well, you’re level 90 so what were you doing there in the first place?

There are some nice cooking recipes, just saying.

Yeah, that’s why there were little orange bugs on your screen haha.

10/10 affix, would ignore again! :ok_hand:

Don’t lie, this the first time a consequence exists in this game of this magnatude. Not that it’s “bad” - but it is a huuuuuge change.

Fail M+? Go again.
Fail brawler’s? Go again.
(every other system ever in this game from the start) Go again.

Visions → time-gate and currency farm

It’s a really interesting, but potentially disastrous move, by Bliz. So far I think it’s truly horrible because my guild has just not had fun trying to help each other. This content sucks for the casuals. We will have an easier time farming M15, lol.

I also think the mechanics like “you have to jump to clear bugs” and “when feared, look for golden orb and run into it” is silly and super punishing. I didn’t go take a course to get educated before I tried to have fun in the game, uh oh, punish me!

How do you not have like 2 vessels from just doing your assaults and the lesser visions this week already ?

That is not at all what the OP is saying.

I agree completely. And I’m so tired of these people who think their opinions are more valid than everyone else’s. If you enjoy Horrific Visions and think they’re so easy then good for you, I’m glad you’re enjoying that part of the game. Personally and for many others we aren’t enjoying them and Blizzard is going to have to make a choice with who to appeal to more. Because I know this type of content has already been shown to exist in Shadowlands it’s made me put my prepurchase on indefinite hold and so we’ll see which direction makes Blizzard more money.

It’s clear some people don’t want challenge in any form and just want to get the “I win” ending.

Ok, so lets put a lock on M+ - you get 1 run in any dungeon for the week and to do a run next week you have to do 20 dailies, a lesser vision, and a major visions - per dungeon.

Cuz, that’s “more challenging” than being able to chain-run the content.

You get mementos which grants research which makes the visions easier. If there was no lockout then people would spam it in the first day for max power and then spam it even more for free sockets to all their pieces.

You don’t understand how the rewards are different, do you? So maybe you shouldn’t compare the two?

I agree with this completely. The problem isn’t really how difficult the content is but rather how punishing failing is and the fact that you can’t really “practice”. Those who participated in the PTR have a significant advantage over other players just because they’ve already played dozens of these. I wouldn’t even care if Horrific Visions were harder than they already were, as long as I could go back in and do it again to try and learn what I did wrong.

Personally I think your Vessel shouldn’t be consumed until you defeat the final boss.

Your mog looks bad. >=(

My mog is one set plus some weapons. Your mog was literally pieced together to look like that hot garbage you’re wearing.

There is no final boss. You can skip killing Thrall and just do the other zones to get the bonus objectives.

Hence why people are pushing back against you and the people who think like you : to send Blizzard a clear message that Challenging solo content is fun and that they did a good job.

For those who haven’t gotten their cloaks to level 5, this is the week to do it.

Thrall is pretty easy and from what I hear he’s easier than Alleria. Get some of those Dimitri’s invis pots, use one then run to the two guards just before where Thrall is at, kill them and there should be a potion next to the door, use that as it gives you more sanity.

Also, use the orb before you go in to do Thrall. He has a stun so before he uses it, run behind him if you can’t interrupt him.

Once you level your cloak, it’ll give you 40% buff to your sanity which makes doing the Lesser Visions easier.
Also, there’s that food, the K’babs that can help. A lot of people fail their first couple of attempts, I did on my DK which I thought was weird but I didn’t on my DH, which is also weird but was cool.

If I can do it, you can too.

First, it is a core progression element for this patch. Like it or not, it is mainstream.

Second, it is horrible content for guilds. Every person needs a vessel, and has to be on a stage with similar objectives (rank 7 upgrades don’t jive with rank 2 upgrades).

Third, the punishment involves solo-farming and time-gating. I detest those models.

So yeah, its a terrible system. I sailed through this solo on my low-geared rogue but have really struggled with my high geared tanks… until I got a good corruption that jacked my damage 6k passively… this content is designed around dps - and that’s a hard pill for healers and tanks to deal with.

How about we move the visions into the tmog area and make M+ required to progress cloaks? That’d be so much better. (Reminder Mage Tower was NOT part of core progression). You get rank ups only when you clear specific levels up to say M25. Why not? We want challenges right?

That can be prevented by putting a cap on the mementos and gear that can drop in a given week.

I have not failed a single vision and I still think it’s a stupid and unnecessary lock on the content.

I think it really depends on which class you’re trying it on.
I’m talking about doing it solo.

My personal experience, trying it on DH was an eye opener.
The difficulty difference was night and day between my mage.
It was easier on my DH while my DH has a lower ilvl.

I like the idea of horrific visions, but too bad it really isn’t balanced between different classes if you wanna do it solo.
I think theres even an achieve for beating it with masks, solo.
It would be disappointing if only certain classes would be able to get the achieve.
But I’d be happy to be proven wrong and will keep an eye on Youtube videos.
It’ll be very entertaining to watch if someone is able to get the achieve with a class thats considered “not-good in solo visions”

That’s a forum issue. My set is mogged to the fierce gladiator set with different pieces from what is seen currently.
Your set is an unoriginal single mog set with a cheap voodoo mask for a helmet and some whack looking particle effects on the shoulder while you run around in a tacky gold dress.

I’d challenge you to a fight, but your ilvl is higher than mine and I don’t want to lose in a battle of skill. Crabwalks around to establish dominance
