I gave it my very best

Would be more convincing if you post this on your level 25 Classic character rather than retail 120. You know there are lots of gossips going on that since currently retail is the lowest of all level population-wise, some retail players coming to Classic forums and posting “I quit” posts. Not saying you do, but it happens lot…

You don’t desire a WoW 2 or even WoW with an engine overhaul? They are literally capped on what they can do effects wise, it’s why retail now just looks like an explosion of fireworks.

just gonna say that most ppl are in the 40~ range so being only 25 not a shock you dont see many ppl.

Personally, no, I really would’nt care. For me graphics and effects are the last thing I care about in a video game. Sure, they can be nice as extra frosting, but it’s hardly substance on it’s own. I’ve played games with awsome graphics and effects where the gameplay is so bland, the effects just come off as hypnotically mind numbing while you stare at them going off, wondering why your doing what your doing.

If a WoW 2 was made and it took the best parts of Classic and Retail and put them into one, I’d be more interested, but only if they took the new mmo route of making them playable on consoles like FF14 and ESO. Believe it or not, plenty of people still exist that can’t afford good gaming PC’s. For me, a new console is expensive enough, but eventually affordable in time.

i really have a blast reading all this retail player topic ,they reach level 10 with maybe 1 gold and they give up already LMAO , i remember 2 month ago all of them
talking about to clean naxx

If you’re experiencing a lack of players; come to Grobb. Then head on over to Hillsbrad. For your sanity, you’ll be glad you didn’t.

Edit: Also, Wut?? Timbo’s from retail. 120 Dark Iron. Not Classic. I don’t even play retail and I know this. Don’t talk about mah community like that. I’m starting to think you’re a…

Plz just delete the game, your unused sub time is a small price to pay for the soulless, empty feeling you are dangerously close to uncovering again

i’ve posted this before… but may as well again since people seem to just want to repeat the same post over and over again. if you want to quit… fine, quit… but posting about it… helps noone, and only serves as a selfish whine post that benefits noone, but your fragile ego. i’d delete this entire thread if i were you.

It seems to me that a lot of the people who are quitting;

They play solo.

Classic isnt fun if you limit yourself to playing alone.

I’m not talking about running more pickup groups. Find a guild. Talk. Help guildies. Goof around in game. Have fun playing with other people.

I dont care when I get to lvl 60, or what my pvp ranking will be, or how much gold I have compared to others. Im having a good time with my guild. And I only met them when I started classic, its not like they are old friends.

Be the kind of person you would want to play with.

If it’s one thing Classic will do it will eat up the lazy and bad players. I fully expect everyone I raid and PvP with to be good by the time we’re all 60 because the junk players will be back in retail waiting for their raidfinder queue to pop.

I mean this entire topic is basically a complaint from a 120 dark iron player in retail bfa. If he actually levelled to 25 and played classic then:

  • he would have only experienced 15% of the game on the high end of things. Classics beauty is its ability to bring people together, create communities via dungeons etc.

  • not experienced any dungeons beyond maybe one or two

  • not played long enough to have joined a guild to make friends

  • not even scratched the surface when it comes into how deep the lore goes in Classic. I mean there are books lying on the floor of Scholomance that are 30 pages long and contain entirely unique to Classic Lore that one could spend a lot of time reading! I mean that just one of the many books around Scholo one can read…you could spend the day in there reading Lore and still have plenty to read! Can you imagine how many people and how much time it took just to write all of that lore content? Certainly back in the day Blizzard must have had a literal TEAM of people that all they did was write lore for books on shelves and floors all across WOW Classic! The amount of detail and depth of lore is UNPARALLELED. That may not be your thing I am guessing, but it goes to show just how much time, care and love must have gone into this game.

There are many other reasons I could list as to why Classic has BFA beat on many features, but the truth of the matter is that if it’s not for you and you prefer free epics for logging in and no challenge gaming then hey BFA is for you!
Those numbers Blizzard is posting showing that BFA is still running strong is a croc of sheet and I am pretty sure a lot of you Retail gamers are starting to realize it, and it concerns you because servers are emptying and guilds can no longer put together a group for anything because half their players or more are all playing Classic!

Yes folks,I truly believe BFA is dying out. The Sylvannus story is dumb. She was my favourite character in all of WoW and the reason I rolled Undead Horde. I supported her because I played and saw her story in old Warcraft. Yet just out of the blue after decades of leading her people and the Undead she turns on a dime, out of the blue gets incredible powers no one has seen her use ever and now she attacks her own people?! I mean Blizzard dun F’d up on this one big time!

Just goes to show Classic was much more involved, unlike retail where everything is instaque, insta portal, insta loot, flying, and level boosts!

Retail players and Devs alike are truly fearful of what Classics successes means for their BFA game. I played Vanilla for some years than quit WOW entirely for over a decade. When Classic came out I returned to Classic right away just to meet up with my old friends from years ago. While some never returned, about 20 or so did return and it has been nothing short of amazing! The nostalgia is crazy good and the people are great!

No we aren’t. Plenty of us play both games and enjoy them…

How narrow of you to think anyone cares about this

Don’t rush to 60 too fast because it’s boring at 60 too even worse if you some1 that loves pvp. Nothing to do but raids and dungeons get boring fast
