I Finally Played Against the Legendary Bobos in a BG

IRL it makes sense because it’s lives at stake. In wow, it doesn’t make any sense. You win some, lose some. A surrender option would be highly abuse able. You’d have to make it like 35/40 agree to surrender for something like this to effectively work in a BG.

You have never been a part of any comeback in all the BG’s you have done?

https://imgur.com/a/Zv6H8Q0 had this tonight… had there been a surrender option, we probably would have used it a while before the end of it. We lost, but damn was it a fun game.

I love BG’s like that win or lose you have a lot of fun.

well i was thinking something like 50% of your team. there is nothing cool or fun about gy farming a broken team.

Luckily there are multiple GY options… unless you push the other team to the cave. Haven’t see that since wod and the full premade though.

I will leave you with this tonight comebacks are fun in IRL and in game.
I’m a big Alabama fan, so I had to leave you with this tua tagovailoa coming out party in the comeback.

in WG this turns into a chase where the dominating team chases the losing team from workshop to workshop, wiping them out every time and then wiping them again when they rez.

Okay but a surrender is a horrible idea. Take the deserter if you’re having a bad time.

sure, but there is a difference between a rallying team and a team with a revolving door of players.

My AV tonight (last night) was a revolving door. We ended up almost winning.

almost?

Yea linked the SS. Was 14 resources left or so. Our team was 3/4 new people by the end. If the 50% rule were there, we wouldn’t have seen that.

well you would have lost sooner and been in a new bg faster. a loss is a loss.

Nah I’m not about that. I like the good games. That was one of them. Just keep leaving Bgs imo.

so 70 players where affected by that bg, 30 with deserter, thats 30 players out of the ebg queue with deserter and another 30 without a fresh bg. if the game ended at 20 afks then a new game would have been started rather quickly, instead more people are stuck waiting than playing.

Awwww I feel nothing for deserters. Their replacements sure. But not enough for a surrender, sorry.

close games aren’t the norm when you have a revolving door, they are the exception. ending the game early would probably lower queue times as well, the remaining players don’t need to sit and eat a long loss, they can take the loss and get back into a new bg. the deserters would still have their debuff so the remaining players likely won’t be in the same game with them again. giving them a new team to try again with.

Queue times as Alliance are fine. Maybe you should merc or reroll if that’s your goal.
