I Finally Played Against the Legendary Bobos in a BG

I ran into Swifty on his prot pally. Hope he plays more epics again. Though right now everyone’s so gaga over classic beta. Like, yeah guys, it’s so amazing watching you run across Westfall or STV for minutes on end…

I’ve encountered Bajheera twice during WoD. Once in EotS with a circle jerk of healers in which he was streaming for his YouTube channel and he gets a KB on me while doing his trashtalk…

That’s okay though…2nd time I was in Ashran seeing if I can get an off piece of gear and encountered him and his team in the mines area so I used the unique class ability you got which mine would send you to jail…and guess where he went? Right as he was getting teleported to jail I /goodbye and SS it…then posted it to his video and said “I’d rather die than go to jail in ASHRAN.”

I just got out of WG yes, I hate it, but I was going against the great Inemia on my warrior. Inemia hits like a ton of bricks I did not do too bad, but what would happen if your help hadn’t arrived. :grinning:

who knows

Speaking of Inemia I just seen him in a WG about 9-10 minutes ago, I was playing my Alliance toon

I was kinda semi-AFK at the base in one of the turret towers, just kind of watching the battle from a distance while I was on my phone. I think he ended up leaving after about 6 minutes or so, he disappeared from the list.

I decided I was bored so I just now AFKed out myself, I think I left around the 34 minute mark

yep, our team split and was spread out over the map instead of staying together, so i left. i have no qualms about leaving a bad team.

Any qualms about wasting another player’s time when they fill your deserted spot?

+1 on this, I’m the same way

But yeah, even though Alliance was on defense that game and seemed to be gaining momentum at the start, I just wasn’t having fun :-1:

I wasn’t at the first teamfight, but I did briefly see Horde dip down to 37-38 players around when the first teamfight happened, so I’m guessing Ally won the first clash

My warrior just did WG again horde won in 9mins. lol

i left with 41 minutes left, so no. though IMO backfilling should be eliminated, when your team has enough players leave it should just end the game and give the other team the win.

Horde win WG at a higher rate as it is just giving them CP Is not answer.

generally in games where one team has a revolving door of players they have lost anyway. comebacks are not the norm and far more than the original 40 are affected. this would turn leaving into a viable surrender by team vote. and it would certainly give you a more accurate sense of your team’s morale than seeing 40 people but half of them are afk or waiting out in a hiding spot.

But there have been come back before if you just made a team give up that all you would see in BG’s.

Aaagh, those shorts, …my :eyes:

breaking your opponent’s morale forcing them to surrender is certainly nicer than gy farming them for 20 minutes.

There’s a few like me that would never surrender and go down fighting.

This film ended the Cold War and fostered world peace.

It is a triumph of the human spirit.

Surrender is a horrible idea for a BG. Leave and take the 15 minutes if you don’t like how a BG is going.

All I have to say is:

because I can!

there is nothing wrong with recognizing the other team is superior, either because they are good or your team is bad. ideas like no surrender no retreat are for the most part fantasy, armies that do that IRL get wiped out, bg teams that do that in wow get gy farmed.
