As Funkflex has said, Bobos is a team player. If he can get you to focus on him rather than BG objectives, its a win for him. Dying doesnât bother him, he just leaps back into the fray.
He has been muted by Blizzard, though, and since he can no longer talk to people or his team to try and turn things around in any given BG, he now will /afk out when things go south. It didnât use to be like that: as long as he could exhort his team to victory, he woukd stay. But with the mute, why bother.
Talking in the game is really the ESSENCE of the game for him, and now that he doesnât have that, he just doesnât care much any more.
Heâs a good peep. He likes to talk a lot, and yes his spelling really is that bad: a real-life month-long coma can do that to you. But with all his obstacles and disabilities, he has made a name for himself, as well as a huge number of wins in various BGs.
Bobos is different and in-your-face, no holds barred. He bows to no one and he is as you see him. And he wins. Because he thinks of the team and takes the hits, distracts the haters. A more perfect PvP tank you will not find!

So is it a perma muting then? Last I heard it was like 200 days or some crap.

I canât remember what itâs up to now, but likely 200 or 400 days.
Problem is, as soon as he gets off mute and starts talking in General or Trade Chat, he gets mass reported even though heâs not doing anything more than talking a lot. And they even have built-in limits to how much you can post and STILL he gets reported.
At this point itâs automatic, I donât think Blizz even reviews the reports, they just ban. And their process makes it almost impossible to respond: there are no links to click to contest. Last I checked on his behalf, heâd have to send a picture ID to open a ticket and even then, if he got a ban reversed, as soon as he started talking again heâd just be reported and muted.
Honestly, itâs ridiculous, but I donât know how he can get out of it.

I take it heâs tried putting in a ticket and fighting it?
Weâve tried, but itâs almost impossible to get a ticket in for a lot of things these days. Last time we tried, he would have had to submit a ID to create a ticket to address this. But for reasons not to go into here, he doesnât have that, and I canât do it on his behalf. Blizzard has made it almost impossible to submit tickets on certain subjects these days; it used to be a lot easier.

@Mistwidget, thanks for the info on Bobos. Please pass along if you can that I always enjoyed his posts and chat in game, because I got the sense everything he said or did was for fun and humor. Never saw him say/do anything out of meanness or spite. We need more alliance like him playing BGs. Hope he can one day speak freely again.

I saw an appeal muting thing when I was poking around to start a ticket for something else.
Based on what I know about him and his health issues I think itâd be a pretty easy crusade to win with some notable YouTuber or streamer support.
I always assumed he was rpâing. I didnât see what the big deal was even if he didnât have the rl issues. His posts on here changed up the monotony at least instead of twink thread 6019.

I literally did the exact same when I first saw this.
Itâs been a while but I ran up against Bobos in AV. I felt bad for him in the end; he was outnumbered but kept running back to the boss to try and disrupt us.
20-30 vs Bobos and few. Earned my respects.

I never said anyting, but it happened twice to me.
Not a forum goer. But I have run into Bahjeera once. He was tops on every stat prettt much but his team still lost.
On that note I ran into Reckful playing undead warrior in the mop pre patch.
It was on stream too (someone I was playing with told me).

It even has a forum thread that you can say hi (or whatever) on, that is NOT muted, and he checks it out fairly regularly.
