Can’t we all just get along, quit WoW and play ESO???

i think you may mean “woe”… but thanks for giving me a new addition to my list of facepalms
“Woah” is them sounds like it comes from Bill & Ted.
Oh no! Not a minor misspelling!
I want to have an enjoyable experience when I log in.
That’s my only request.
They haven’t gotten that right for some time.
The Legion Beta forums determined “that was a lie”
They acknowledge the feedback that fits their narrative.
I saw a spec changed for changes sake that sounded awful compared to a perfect wod counterpart, came on to beta, detailed feedback of what was wrong (community essentially speaking with one voice) and why, after months of this they change something else unrelated for the spec, respond to feedback for that one thing within a day after months of silence, proceed to release that spec which goes dead in water through to the final patch where they finally revamped it a second time within the same xpac to make it playable.
They don’t listen on class changes
They didn’t listen on leggo acquisition which they then LIED about saying there was no cap, they soft capped classes at 4 until they were caught doing so.
They didn’t listen or really want feedback on Azerite gear.
They didn’t listen on covenant balance or that balancing all of the gears in the system would either be impossible or cookie cutter.
So what actual feedback do they respond to?
A lot of people have been doing this song and dance watching blizzard step on the same rakes/walk into the same doors over and over again for about the last 9-10 years.
They deserve every kick in the butt they get
It’s not about the times. I played pserver briefly last year to get a breath of Wotlk back into my lungs, and had pretty friendly experiences.
It’s just old game wasn’t so sharded and instanced, so you could actually meet people out there, and interact with them. And since most content was raids, you needed a guild, which means people to hang out with.
Today, you can play fully solo. There’s no reason to find a guild at all, you can even host and pug raids, or mythic+ runs, or join RBG groups.
I stopped feeling sorry for them when they said no more new customization even with all the hype they caused
And their moderators are awful at their job
Don’t ever ever ever feel bad for a big company. What they do is their job. If they see that their metrics are crashing cause of design choices they will adjust the design. The unhappy vocal minorities do not reflect on the silent casual majority that make up the company revenue. As for devs and other employees, they are not entitled to customers liking or approving of their work, they get paid for it regardless.
