I feel so lonely on this game

I know just what you mean and that’s a big drawback I’ve noticed since they changed the world with mixing realms, sharding and as much as I love LFG/LFR, it too. Back during Vanilla and BC, it was much easier to make friends in the game because people needed people and relationships in the game were important. It’s funny how by including more people, you actually feel more alone.

My guilds ingame chat is usually dead, but thats because majority of us don’t like to type so we are on discord.

Don’t give up, Orquina’s typist.

You’re NOT…much less EVER alone in this game.

I personally play alone nearly 100% of the time and I like it/to.

My guild is however VERY active even though I literally NEVER do anything with my guild.

It can be rough but there other lone wolves like you who play WoW solo. If you wanna, add me to your friends list! I’m seriously MORE than happy to hang.

I agree with this, Go to your server pages and look at the guild advertisements there. You’ll get a better idea of guilds that are actually active. Also, sometimes people are wrapped up in whatever they are doing and do not see what someone posts in chat. I try to be very helpful to the members in our guild, but sometimes I don’t see what they post because of all the other things that are flying through my chat.

it is hard to care about other people when you know most of them either don’t care about you, are users, abusers, or will leave you when a better opportunity xomes along.

LOL it’s that Aussie time. I am in bed snoozing while you are playing.

Never gave much thought to the cross realms until last week when I was trying to form another alt guild to house my kids and my ats on Magtheridon and the only people I could find to sign the charter were from other realms.

The problem is that Blizzard has cultivated a gaming environment where you don’t need to communicate with a single soul to do what you need to do. They have turned this MMORPG into a singleplayer experience.

Say what you want about vanilla, TBC, and WotLK to some extent, but back then the game was designed to get you to get you to group up and talk to other people. That just isn’t the case anymore.

This is why I haven’t joined a guild in years…

Guilds used to be so friendly and talkative.

There was a standard you had to meet to be in that guild too… aka talk, be polite and help with guild things, be in-game for meetings, ect… it used to be so much more…

I had a guild back in the day that was family to me, people would always make sure your good, check on you and you’d always be in the loop…

ahh god I could go on forever, god damn memories.

(Hammer & Ale) All-Dwarf guild, relaxed atmosphere, alts welcome! (*)

(Thorium Brotherhood, Silverhand, Farstriders cluster)

(*) Alts must be Dwarves.

Please sir!! GET OFF OF THE GAME!! No wonder you are lonely. You are on something you are suppose to be in!! You’re doing it WRONG!!

Maybe those feelings of loneliness come from devoting so much of your life for the past 10 years to a video game that has no effect on your real life outside of stealing time from actual productive things you could be doing.

Just a thought.

sounds like your guild isn’t active

Now that sounds interesting!

Migrate to a high pop RP realm and join the lookingforgroup channel. We talk a LOT, I promise.

Have you considered a Discord community (my preference) or even one of the WoW communities?

I’ve played this game for six years and I started with 0 friends on my friend list, but after all this time of playing the game my friend list is now at 0.

I like playing with Aussie heelers, they are incredibly loyal players.

Play classic, much more community oriented.
