The game sucks now that you know that some crappy people worked on it? Most of them are gone now. Specifically because of what they did(…to be fair, that’s more the company protecting themselves).
They’re not around now. And the company is trying to be better(…to be fair, to avoid being in trouble(…more?)).
The Blizzard you should feel shamed about supporting is the one that’s come and gone. And you didn’t know better. By all means demand transparency and accountability moving ahead if that sets your mind at ease, but keep in mind there’s a limit to what they can talk about at the moment even if they want to.
But if you’re not having fun, then go find something you enjoy doing. Life is short, don’t waste it playing WoW just because…you…played WoW.
First, as far as contributing to the problem with my subscription, damage done.
Second, the problem has been aired, brought to the attention of state AND FEDERAL authorities, and will be prosecuted.
Third, I always think of my sister when I play WoW, because she introduced me to the game.
My sister played in the open beta, and was a charter-signing founder of the first Alliance guild on Stormrage server at launch.
Which is how I have always known that “girls aren’t gamers” is and always has been bullsh!t, and it’s why I am glad to see casual misogyny in the game and community get curbstomped.
Know what else is loathsome and overdue for an extinction event? Troll culture.
I feel the same way logging onto my pandaren, all those pandas stuck in zoos, I just can’t stop thinking about what they would do seeing me having fun, they would probably roll around in a basket… but I can’t enjoy playing a game knowing they are locked up.
Idk how a game makes you feel like that. Unless you know the people responsible personally in real life and still talk to them, then yeah I can see. But a game shouldn’t be the problem…
I think your parents would be ashamed the moment they saw the name of your character “Zappyboyzw” so don’t worry about the shame of playing Shadowlands.
