A strong guard dog is still a dog. It might be deadlier than its master but broken to his will it will be far more dangerous to his enemies than to himself. The orcs have no strong leadership and no purpose. They’re a loaded weapon begging to be aimed the Alliance’s enemies.

Only because the current ‘Horde Council’ is a bunch of Alliance in disguise. We’ll see how long that lasts.

Glorious, you mean. Seeing my second most hated race broken after 13 years of playing WoW is delicious. I never expected it would happen due to the aforementioned gameplay constraints.

Yeah, no. They’re not going to be ‘broken’ by any means, they’re going to be ‘renewed’ by a character that’s got the same last name as the person that caused it all.
They’re not ‘broken’, they’re just being forced to accept a horribly written, ham-fisted leader.

Forsaken players hate the very idea of a Menethil leader.
You hate the Forsaken.
Unfortunately for you, the Forsaken aren’t by any means ‘broken’.
Unfortunately for Forsaken players, we’re getting a Menethil to replace the character that we actually liked up until BFA forced us not to.

Our history is full of leaders making bizarre political alliances, allying with former enemies, betraying former friends and stuff so, so much more bizarre than this.

Governments in the Warcraft universe are just as dysfunctional as human ones, without even taking into account that most of them are autocratic or completely primitive by modern standards.

Yes but the difference between reality and fiction is that reality at least tries to make sense of itself.

Sure but if you start nit-picking everything that you don’t like about the story over all these years you’ll end up like a lot of the posters here that just seem to be in a constant rage and don’t appear to even enjoy WoW anymore.

I just love WoW—as it is, warts and all, not an idealized version or some nostalgic, rose-tinted version from my teen years----and my faction, which I’ve been playing since I was 17. (30 now)

It’s kinda sad that’s so rare in these forums people assume I’m trolling.

I’m satisfied with the end of the faction war too. Not how it ended, good lord no, just that it’s ended.

I’m EXTREMELY satisfied, that it ended. Period.

I don’t ‘hate wow’ but I do hate certain aspects of its story. This faction war is one of those things.

Other parts of the story I like. Like I mentioned before, the alliance kul’tiras stuff I like a lot. I liked Jaina’s character arc, provided she doesn’t flip flop again going forward. I liked the draenei, nightborne and Azsuna stuff in Legion. I don’t hate everything about the WoW story. But the parts I dislike, I’m not going to pull punches on eitehr and pretend they’re well handled.
