I feel insulted as a healer when

Focus more on doing damage.

Or when they run through a pack of mobs the tank was trying to skip, you heal them and pull aggro off them and then they try to blame the pull on you.

Yep, saw that too.

I like you, Gracie. /wink

If I’m on a class that can heal and can do nothing else at the moment, I help heal.

Taking it personally is silly. I’m just helping you with mana consumption and what-not.

I love it when people say, “and what-not.” It’s one of my favorite quirks of speech EVER. It covers SO MANY THINGS.

it doesnt even do that half the time i end up overhealing cause mr hybrid wants to heal the same target as me

Both ret and enh have downtime in their rotations, and they don’t need the mana.

I always heal myself up when I can~ I like making use of all my abilities.

When I played a healer in XIV I loved when tanks and others would keep themselves up cause then I’d have a few more globals free for more fun. I assume in WoW healers also have fun when they can kitty around/throw lightning instead of topping off someone, plus mana can be so tight.

It’s a teamwork thing, and something that is only really helpful in certain situations. If multiple people are low and you see the healer healing one person, tossing a few to another to keep them alive before the healer gets to them is handy.

I also do a lot of healing while healers are getting mana on alts that can do so. It makes the run go faster.

Mind, I’m also talking about relatively high keys and specific scenarios. Nothing bugs me more than a paladin tank taking it to the face while casting a heal (because he can’t mitigate while casting and makes the situation worse by doing so!)

I’m a warlock, and i’ll be handing out healthstones rather you like it or not. I’ll even resurrect you with my soulstone. So don’t hate me for doing my job.

That is my warlock’s sole duty. Hey Vad, bring your warlock to this +20.

Okay!

Now that you’re here, drop some cookies and get on your mage.

/sad warlock noises.

Then when you arrive with the mage… About that food…

I am convinced cloth wearers are just vending machines.

how are healthstones anyway equivalent to a hard casted holy light from a ret pally. healthstones are off gcd, so who cares go wild with them

Mage food should count on the hps meter on grievous weeks. :stuck_out_tongue:

Happens more than you think. Sometimes it isn’t even the healers or DPS fault. External healing is just needed for that particular situation.

Oh boy, hope I never tank for you then. I’d probably make your head explode with how often I drop bear form in heroics to heal people.

I don’t like that I lose the ability to teach them a hard lesson by letting them die sooner.

I’ve had characters with self heals that have died long before the healer did. Was I stupid? Sometimes. But the fact of the matter is that I’ve learned to never trust the healer, especially if my health drops down to below 40% or so. I will take the time to cast some heals on myself.

Healing is as thankless as tanking. Knowing this, I don’t care if someone wants to ‘bust a heal’ on someone from time to time or all the time in a rando grp.

For all I know they see themselves the savior of my inadequacy, champion of all victims of my ineptitude…or…they are just so enamored with my dope healz, they wanna be like me. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

If we’re in stratholme and i can help heal, it’s just what’s gonna happen. Tanks drop like bricks in there.
