I fear Delves/tuning will be for M+ers like everything else

You are right they can’t resist the urge to turn devles into a M+ers/esport.

That makes you a valued member of the WoW community.

Because they weren’t designed for it.

Eh, I wouldn’t take GD’s word for it. This forum is basically the epicenter of the campaign the conflate solo and casual play with braindead play.

There is a market for difficult solo play. It’s just that the target audience are usually people who are also open to team play, difficult or otherwise.

Who cares if a person doing world content is stronger in a delve? I don’t see anything wrong with this at all…

I think there are supposed to be 12 or 13 tiers of delves, but max ilvl rewards are at 8. Should be relatively reasonable to get to 8 for gear, while also providing more difficult challenges for those who want cosmetic rewards.

Torghast was awesome with potential!

The majority of solo players in my experience want the easy content to award the best gear.

Which is why this entire thread is just proof of that.

I would disagree. Most people looking for difficult play tend to do group content.

We don’t need yet another set of gear. If you want all the perks of doing group content then do group content.

I don’t know how you all can play a game where you’re so paranoid the devs are against you.

you mean for people who just play the game ?

Read what I wrote again. We are agreeing.

Yes, delves will 100% miss their target audience, because the target audience isn’t looking for difficult, solo, instanced content. The only people for whom that has ever appealed to is people who already do difficult content.

What I think most solo players want is dynamic open world content beyond the “fill-the-bar” style world quests we’ve had for so long.

Funny, my friend and I are actually looking forward to these.

We don’t need a group of potential window lickers to run them.

I hope delves have some bite to them, it was a lot of fun playing horrific vision limbo seeing how far I could go with the rattiest of alts.

I read it. I know we are mostly
Agreeing. I disagree that there is a solo player market for difficult content.

Nah they just want that content to award bis gear.

Not a huge one I agree, but it has it’s niche.

I really enjoyed stuff like the Mage Tower, Endless Torghast. Horrific Visions are ok, but my experience is kinda meh on those cause I had to grind an insane amount for Corruptions.

There is definitely a strand of loud, actively dishonest, actors who will claim that they want hard solo content when in reality they just want nearly afkable content that gives them good stuff.

I loved horrific visions and I wasn’t doing much in the way of M+.

This is a game and it should provide levels of challenges with an appropriate reward structure. My only issues, personally, was when things were exclusively locked behind content that takes a lot of single-session sitting time. But even then I made peace with the fact that not everything in this game is for me.

Perhaps you should, too. Focus on what you enjoy.

BlizZard does it for us by taking easy w’s and turning them into big fat L’s.
