I Don't Want to Use an Eagle

There are going to be hundreds of thousands of us all using the EXACT same pet, no matter what race we’re playing, no matter the background our headcanon is for our character. This is sentinel’s conforming design (with the owl) all over again, and much, much worse!

I don’t want to be a beastmaster who summons rexxar’s 3 specific pets (he used an eagle in wacraft 3, not a wyvern anyway). I have a beastmaster goblin who uses mechs, an undead who uses zombie animals, a hunter who only uses insect pets, a zandalari who is a dinomancer and uses dinosaurs.
Now they have to use 3 very specific mammals because a character from The Frozen Throne’s orc campaign used them? Stop!

Yeah, this continued dilution of every hunter’s uniqueness is getting ridiculous. The pack leader changes are especially egregious to me. They say things like this…

For Pack Leader, we wanted to ensure that you were summoning Beasts from a specific pool, and that each pet felt unique, like your Hunter and their Pack had a special bond.

… but then saddle us with the same three animals as everyone else, that we have no bond with whatsoever! If ever there were a time for celebrating hunter pets it’s in the packleader hero tree! We have our own packs already! Let us lead them!

Rather than howl of the packleader summoning one of those three animals, align it with our own animals of specific specs. Instead of a bear it summons one of our tenacity pets from our stable. Instead of the wyvern it summons one of our ferocity pets from our stable. And instead of the boar it summons one of our cunning pets from our stable.
