It’s literally a roguelike mode stapled onto the already existing MMO. It’s more game to play. If you disagree, you might need to adjust your definitions of ‘game’ and ‘play

Torghast sucks and roguelike games suck that’s why there’s no AAA game of the genre because it’s an indie genre only beloved by people that like stuff like diablo

You make it through 8.3, Black Empire dailies, corruption, Azerite gear, Horrific Visions, and the most boring raid I have ever done, but Torghast, that’s the breakingpoint… sure buddy.

I don’t understand. Blizzard literally gave you a replayable dungeon crawler mode with unique assets, mechanics, and upgrades found nowhere else in the game, and you equate it to no-effort mobile shovelware.

Only in the WoW community, I guess.

You dont understand because you take anything blizzard give you and you LOVE it no matter what.

Torghast is half baked and under delivers, and right now is just another time gated progression mechanic, with its own useless currencies…and little to no reason to repeat the content. Sure it can be redon a million times, if you dont need drops or items or progression.

See tied into all the other time gated mechanics, for which i really cant think of a single non time gated system in SL…Torghast doesnt offer any good uses beyond needing to unlock the next level for story purpose.

Its not only the wow community, lots of games have people who want to see the game improve and playters who dont settle for luke warm, and tons of white knights who will defend any turd delivered by the devs.

people want a better system, not because they are jerks, but because the system is half baked.

I dont think this is more game to play… this is busy work… playing the game is doing dungeons and raid. Getting gear which builds player power. Not do all your chores to build player power so you’re relevant in dungeons and raid. I 100% agree with OP

Fits with Blizzard’s philosophy this expansion to have as little infinite grind as possible. Everything in this expansion is ‘time gated’ if you look at it hard enough, yes, but Honor cap way back when was a time gate too. It’s WoW. You complain about some things like they haven’t already been in the game for over a decade now.

I’m glad you think so highly of me.

I can want to see the game improve, while also being grateful for the improvements already made. If you really want me to white knight, I can probably brainstorm an essay in an hour about how corruptions did nothing wrong.
