I don't understand these forums sometimes

Because it means unless Blizzard holds your hand you wouldn’t dare do the grind, can when said grind isn’t so horrible

Engaging game play. Key to it all. Good post.

:mask:

Those two statements are not contradictory. The first statement is people hate rep grinds. The second statement is joy that the buff makes it so they don’t have to rep grind as much to get the rep grind out of the way of the fun.

No, I still do the grind. They just make it less of a drag. I’m not one of the people posting for an extension though. I got all that rep exalted already. However I can understand why people want it and I don’t complain.

Your complaining about complaining is petty and low effort.

What’s not to understand? People hate rep grinds, the rep buff reduces the rep grind.

Think of it in a real world example. "I would love to buy this new coffee maker, (Allied races) but I cant afford it. (don’t have enough time) oh look it is 50% off (100% exp boost) I’ll buy it since I can afford it.

Given that the rep buff cuts the rep grinds (which have things behind them) in half, why is this hard to understand?

More rep buff = less rep grind

You just earned an interwebs. Thats a perfect example.

Since you can’t find the difference between those two sentences,
Let me help you,

This sentence means, in general, we don’t want rep in game at all, because it destroys or kills fun and forces ppl to do the bad content, just for lol’s!

The second sentence, tells that the player needs rep buff because that brings in fun like, he is able grind that boring content Fast and focus on the content that actually matters like raiding.
So, this rep buff helps him to reach the goal that he wants to pursue from the start. Also, he as also given up on blizzard to remove reps from game and he is satisfied with rep buff boons…

I already had my rep finished. I don’t like the rep grinds but I do them to get them out of the way so I don’t have to worry about it again.

It’s not a fun system. You have to grind garbage in order to actually play in the way you want to play.

How do you not understand Clark?

We don’t like rep buffs and Blizz please keep the rep buff going so we can finish rep buffs and not have to do them anymore are very complimentary statements.

You’re being purposefully obtuse.

Not “reasons”, just reason.

Example:

Player: Grinding rep for a particular faction is unenjoyable.

Blizzard: Here is a 100% buff that will make the grind go faster, thereby lessening the time you want/need to spend grinding.

Player: Thank you!

Blizzard: We are removing the buff.

Player: Blizzard, can you extend the buff so that the unenjoyable grind is also less unenjoyable across my alts as reputation is not account-wide?

You know what, it’s okay.

Many of us don’t understand your posts sometimes anyway.

You know that the forums have different people with different opinions correct? The problem is people like you love to generalize and force everyone you disagree with into a package that you can judge in one single shot.

Stop thinking everyone that disagrees with you is flawed or 100% wrong, open your mind a bit, and maybe you will start to “understand” what a forum is. Its not black and white.

So you dont understand that people who hate rep grinds like a system that gives them more rep and lessens the grind? seems pretty logical to me.

This is part of why it’s so hard for Blizzard to figure out what to add. You have half the people who want A to happen and half want B and neither can compromise or agree on anything with each other so Blizzard has to pick one to cater to and then risk pissing off the other group.

It’s an impossible battle because not only do people generally like different things but they are adamant that their way is the only way.

The rep buff reduces the grind.
