I don't understand the Primalists

Just watched the DF ending cinematic and they get their powers back but they’re like: “This is not of the Titans…but of our world.” Who’s gonna tell them? Maybe Magni can help them out…
Or maybe the story writers don’t know the game’s lore.

No it’s because alliance players had a meltdown because their good guy faction did something bad. Just like the vulpera purge squads in BFA.

That’s a lot of made up facts.

Okay I just took the volume of a scaled up human at steel density and I got 413 tons. I stand by his Thunderspear Amerpage though. ~12.6 meters tall idk how big Odyn is in game I’ll have to check.

They have been forshadowing for a while now that Azeroth isn’t a Titan, that World Souls are either without alignment to any of the celestial forces or are aligned, but that alignment can be changed when outside forces act on them. This is most likly why you get Titans like Eonar who seem to be more Life aligned but is a Titan of Order.

Which is why all of the forces seem to be fighting for control so that they can be the one that shapes the World Soul. They have also been foreshadowing that Azeroth is some sort of next level Soul and that she will come out somehow different. Either a thing of balance representing all of the forces or something else entirely.

Excellent. That’s what the Pantheon was from the beginning and is stated in books. Aggramar encountered a life overrun Draenor, and set the forces in balance again with his huge cyclops he created. This was the same life force that we saw in the Everbloom dungeon, that we also see on Elunaria in Antorus raid. The Titans are a force of nature to balance the comsos, they aren’t inherently sided with the Arcane, or Order. Norgannon is, but Aman’thul is a Titan of Time, Argus, Death, Sargeras was probably Light, etc. No doubt if the Pantheon found a world that was consumed by “Order” they would sweep away the force and bring it back to balance.

I wonder what Azeroth will be. Seeing Amatus from Hearthstone would also be cool.

The excuse as I see it is the keepers were effectively deactivated by the old gods and the titans slain by Sargeras.

One thing people overlook is the curse of flesh… we (except Earthen, almost… they began to think for themselves) are creations of the Old Gods, who transformed the titans unthinking automatons into living beings that experience pain. The old gods legacy walks among you…so in a very real sense the old gods are still winning. Dragons may defy this in some way… inconsistent with what I state above. As well as the whole proto-troll/elf and their speciation.

What is going to happen when the Titans come to Azeroth and see just how messy everything has got? They will see the stain of the Old Gods everywhere, even though they expressed some level of gratitude at the conclusion of Legion.

Yes they are. The Titans are the manifestation of Order in the mortal realm. They are to Order what the Old Gods are to Void and the Naaru are to the Light.

I hope so, but we all know that’s not how blizz will handle it. He, a very angry pet rock, will somehow challenge cosmic beings capable of reshaping or destroying entire planets.

WoW’s story is chalked up to grey rather than light vs dark, good vs evil. Everyone these days wants to paint the bad guys as morally justified or make excuses for their atrocities. Even the Horde that used to be blood thirsty evil creatures is now “honor bound” and soft.

It’s just bad writing. IMO light should be good, dark evil, titans are good (since they created us and their are life/order which we are beings of).

Iridikron is merely a puppet

Illidan was ready to throw hands with sargeras

So I think iridikron might be ok

Guess humans, dwarves, and gnomes are goners.

It’s looking more like clown colours these days.

Old Horde, yes. Not Thrall’s Horde.

Its a poor writer who creates this situation in the first place. As one writer said: “you have to be careful with magic. If a spell of summoning brings a dragon, why not do 500 spells of summoning.”

I dont remember who said it, but if you can thanos snap an enemy, why wouldn’t you?

it was silly when illidan thought he could do it too

bro was peeing himself thinking KJ was coming after him in WC3, but suddenly he thinks he can take on sargeras?

Well… couldn’t the titans just snap their fingers and remove the curse?

Rework is too inefficient given level of defectiveness. So scrap it is.

I know it’s silly. One must forget to think, suspend disbelief… cause afterall… the physics is just all sorts of wrong, too, and I don’t see a lot of people moaning about that.

Criticizing fiction is just almost an entire waste of time… unless it governs how people live their lives. Too… much… gametime. And other things… you figure it out.

I was just surprised that so many Primalists were Nelfs with such strong animus towards the Titans. When have the Titans ever interacted with Night Elves prior to DF?

Blizzard is not the only one ignoring the superior power. After reading the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, all you have to do is read the Silmarillion to find out that the “West” has a massive army lead by the Valar, who are Tolkien world gods, that could have easily crushed Sauron as they did his boss, the Valar Morgoth, back in the 1st age of Middle Earth.

Of course if they did that there would have been no Lord of the Rings because the Valar could have basically snapped their fingers and the “One Ring” would have been dust.

The new shadowlands cosmology chart got rid of those relations and are no longer represented.
