I hate when fantasy games dip into mechanical/technical stuff.

Warcraft has had mechanical and technological stuff since Warcraft 2 (gnome gyrocopters, oil-guzzling submarines, cannons, explosives, etc.). The cat is long out of the bag.

The proof is there for all to see, you can now play classic at any time.

Create a Gnome or Dwarf and you’re quickly exposed to gnomish and dwarvish engineering. Tech has been part of WoW since release, get over it. Deeprun Tram, hello?!?!

But to the OP, the lack of a new ‘cloth class’ is fairly meaningless imo. Who cares? So long as they new classes armor type fits the theme of the class, it doesn’t matter what they wear (unless you’re a clothie who’s looking for a new cloth class just for new mog variants). More to the point, just because we haven’t gotten a new cloth class doesn’t mean we NEED to get a cloth class. It’s just armor.

I’ve had my fill of half-baked mecha-slop when the re-skinned gnomes came out. No more. I’m hoping for something actually interesting this time around, and not just yet more bloat.

Saying that a Tinker is Hunter 2.0 is like saying Ironman and Hawkeye are the same hero.

i love this honestly. Kinda close to it is also Ethereal Locus Walker. It’s been all over youtube and reddit that this might be the next class.

I don’t know what the next class will be, but I hope it’s a Gun class without nature nonsense to polute it.

I just want to shoot things, I don’t want a boring animal following me around, throwing off my groove.

MM used to fill that niche but the new government mandated eagle is going to ruin everything.

I’ve been waiting for a hunter class that doesn’t have a god awful pet or is as bad as MM for years. IDK how nobody has noticed that only hunters can use bows/guns while everybody lost their minds over glaives only being usable by DH’s. We desperately need a non-pet ranged melee class in the game. My original hope was for DH to get a ranged melee/fel magic ranged spec. But I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen.
