I dont mind DH being this good

See, that’s all fine and dandy. It very well could be that 4 people were messing with a 6-time high-multi-glad DH. That still doesn’t change that the value of experience and complexity of DH is heavily diminished the more time you spend on it, unlike other certain classes which are affected by the ThEy'Re HyBrIdS tHeY sHoUlD dO lEsS dAmAgE problem. (Feral, Windwalker, Ret pally to be specific.)

I’m all for them properly pulling DH down or pulling everyone (well, many specs) up. It just sucks knowing that as a Windwalker, who actually has to make conscious decisions about your next ability whilst maintaining a dual-resource system, does less damage, has less utility, has less group utility, and arguably less mobility than a spec who’s priority is Meta>Eye Beam>Blade Dance>Chaos Strike (priority, not rotation.) It’s like walking into work, doing one of the more stressful jobs, then your co-worker who has the same job title but doesn’t do what you do sips on a margarita saying “I dunno why you’re doing that. I’ve never done it. Seems easy, lemmie try” then proceeds to do it way better without having the years of post-secondary education required to do it.

To be blunt, DH needs a niche. And “being super good at everything” isn’t a niche. Now what that niche might be… I don’t know, but if they’re gonna package a dps with all that, at least make their damage on par with the hybrid classes. You have the best mobility, some of the best utility, a GROUP defensive, a personal defensive, strong AoE, strong ST, a 5% magic debuff, and when all else fails, pop meta and self-heal-to-win. (It’s more-so the group defensive, and the strong damage that needs to be picked between. Darkness is OP, and so is being good at both damage types.)
