I don't mean to bully hunter's but

Self-sustain and DCDs for DPS is completely busted… Blizzard went down that road and opened a box they can’t ever close and now you have Fury Warrior…

What does this have to do with self-heal abilities for all classes?

Yea Hunter’s defensive are pretty trash lol.

Anyone remember when double deterrence was a thing? Good times.

Actually it was playing my windwalker and using my bubble when I was like “I shouldn’t have this ability. What the heck is this OP ability. My opponents don’t even know what it does they just keep whacking me”

Hunter CDs are some of the worst. If not THE worst. It’s fine, really.

One. It’s not a bubble, it’s a shield. Any dots of any kind will still tick. If a feral lights you up, you are going to bleed out inside your shield.
Tbh we need a heal. They took away literally every other means of regen. We used to have a semi passive okay self heals. All we have is exhil now.

So if you remove those 2, what avenues of defense do we have other than our range and slows?

I was so mad when they removed mend pet heal. I hit that constantly.

Nah I think it’s fine. Warlocks have better healing abilities and maybe a not as good shielding ability and I think they’re fine, too.

Mages don’t have any healing abilities, but they make up for it with things like Alter Time, Invisibility, Ice Block, etc.

I think every DPS class/spec is really balanced right now when it comes to defensives, some could use a few buffs, but we’re in a pretty good spot.

Thats still around

Nah man exhilaration and turtle are VASTLY different from paladin’s self heals and bubble. You can’t attack during turtle (and warriors can’t shattering throw it either much to my chagrin).

I mean if you’re complaining about this stuff what about hammer of wrath? Warriors have execute so should we take away HoW from you?

It is for your pet. Not for you.
It used to heal the hunter for a small %. I want to say it was 1-2% hps

That’s rich coming from a pally.

Exhilaration does heal you and your pet at the same time though, so it’s like how mend pet used to be with obviously a much longer cooldown, but now you have mend pet separately, too.

disagrees in shaman

Don’t hunters have a way to launch traps that freeze? Both the frost traps are pretty great CC. And disengage helps kitting.

True, I would include shamans in classes that need buffs to defensives

so, wait… you are complaining about a spell that only reduces damage by 30% and yet I cannot attack? Other classes get this and can attack.

GTFO

Except most classes have a literal better heal as a passive. Shaman and Druid get a 30% heal that always procs when you need it and are both on shorter cooldowns than Exhil.

Exhil always did that. The only difference is they gave a conduit for a talent that gave it a hot as well.
It’s still not amazing. It’s an oh crap button where as mend pet was a hot for the hunter, which they removed during the prepatch.

Say you end combat and want to regen and dont have food. Mend pet. You have a bleed on you and want to somewhat negate the dot, mend pet.
It was very useful when used right, now it’s purely for healing the pet.

Don’t you have hand of freedom? Hand of hinderance? Divine steed? WoG? Flashheal? Loh? BoP? Eye for an eye? Hoj? You can attack/heal/hearth THROUGH your bubble?

Hunters get 2 traps, pet stun, disengage, cheetah, turtle, exhil, maybe concus if you waste precious talent points.

So, yea we have more mobility. But you have more slows/stuns as well as heals as well as full blown immunity.

That’s like saying that’s paladin and have a stun and divine steed… So we shouldn’t have a bubble or a word of glory

So this means it should be removed entirely? “It’s not good enough. Delete it.” is the moved goal post from OP.
