Yes, but in this fantasy game it’s pronounced differently. Many fantasy and sci fi universes that have been created will do that to be unique.

Shay-men is a pokemon. Sha-men.
Most Americans pronounce it Shah-muhn. If you’re British it’s pronounced more like Shay-men.

If you are dicussing Eastern shamanism in a real life conversation, use that pronunciation. If it relates to the game, use the one that’s been identified in the fantasy world.

In Europe and other places, it tends to be pronounced “Shay-men.”
