I don’t have time to level 1-60 with 20% less XP needed BUT I have time to level 60-70 and grind 5 reps to revered
oh and grind gold needed to level two professions, cooking and first aid from zero but you know I’ll totally not buy gold to do that

Irrelevant content lolololol. You mean… the game?!? What are you talking about? You mean the irrelevant content that is THE most important part of wow?!
Not only wow, leveling is one if not the most important part of an MMO, it’s character progression and that is what defines this genre.
In current content, sure.
If 1-58 leveling is relevant… then everyone who plays tbc would have leveled 1-58 in tbc… and there far from the truth.
Without it it’s an action mmo rpg. No depth, just a bunch of cut scenes and computer anime
I am pretty sure that is a subjective statement. If you ask the elite raiding groups they would say leveling is not one of the most important parts. I would venture to say they would prefer not to have to even do it. For them MMOs are about being the top raiding group, achieving world firsts, or clearing raid content at the fastest speeds. For Role-players it is about the community and leveling may not even be a part of their world.
An MMO is to each player what they want it to be, and leveling may or may not even be a blip on their radar.
The game is already broken. I’ve seen maybe 1 or 2 other posters who want TBC as it was 13 some odd years ago. The grind, all the time needed, retunes, etc.
I think boosts are freaking terrible. But hey, at this stage? Everyone else is out there only caring about what they want, why can’t I? No one really cares about the game for the game itself. Boosts? I’m all in. Heck some dungeon finder non teleport, non cross realm thing? Cool.
Classic died the moment 1.12 was announced. TBC was dead the moment the casual Retail players took Classic over half way in - before it was even annouced, or even a rumor.
As i said before, mmorpgs are all about character progression, which raiding is also a part of.
Leveling is the first part of the journey but no less important.
Curious. Are you for or against everyone starting TBC fresh.
There is a lot of truth in what you are saying.
they kinda are, ive seen so many people say “well might as well boost a druid for ez herbing/mining” or “well might as well boost a transmute alt.” that wont kill the game at all though
But important to who, you? So anyone who feels that leveling is a tedious task, or feels leveling is boring should just go stuff it because they are not important, or that their opinions of how to play the game is somehow less relevant to you?
That sounds to me let the very essence of ignoring the perspectives and opinions of others and blindly pressing forward with your own opinions as the only truly right ones and everyone else can get bent.
its called blood elfs and draini
how do you think you learn to play your class just watch youtube video and go i can do that!!!
Looool just watch youtube video that’s funny. Cancel ur subs. Show them woth your wallet
If given the chance i would start a new journey in a fresh server.
Not saying that at all. There are 12 levels for a boosted character to play, learn their class and improve.
What I am saying is that we have somehow gotten onto this idea that leveling is a defacto “All Important” aspect of enjoying a game. When in reality it is subjective and each player can and will have their own opinion on what makes an MMO fun for them.
30% lol even worse
Can you please explain to me how more players exchanging gold for in game items is bad for the economy? A lot of people claim this but can never really explain to me how its bad for the economy.
