I can look at retail and see exactly what happen with the boost being introduced there. The same will occur here.
I agree. We all know the actual reasons, but it really doesn’t change anything.
For this, you would be considered a new player as you haven’t played classic in this scenario. However, it is likely just as many truly new to WoW players would buy the boost as those who choose to skip over Vanilla entirely. There is nothing to say one would buy the boost more than the other.
Given outcry for it like there was with classic I’d have to imagine a decent chunk desire it.
