I don't get why some horde players hate Calia and Baine

Calia and Baine are pro getting rid of the faction barrier. Some people feel that they couldnt get their pvp rocks off if there was no faction conflict.

Cuteness, hotness and intelligence aren’t the same as being moral, for all that there appears to be lot of idiots who think that.

Sounds like someone is just jealous of Calia :nail_care:

Lol. Just like with Sylvanas.

Baine is weak and comes off as a alliance lacky.

Did not ask, did not care.

And nobody wants to buy Sylvanas bathwater.

Take it somewhere else. :nail_care:

She is NOT Horde either.

She also has NO idea what being forsaken means. She can’t relate. She’s blessed in the light and lived her entire life with that privilege. Does she know what it’s like to lose the light? Does she know what it’s like to be hunted as a monster for simply existing? By your own friends and family no less?

And you’re telling me you want to put her in charge and make descisions about what she THINKS is best for our people.

Yeah, I’ll pass.

Even if I gave you that much, she still doesn’t understand us. She can’t. It’s physically impossible for her to understand. Her light blessed brain and untainted resurrection shield her in her own bubble of ignorance.

She can lead a kingdom but that’s about it. She has no idea how to lead a whole race of people who thrive off of killing things around them in order to sustain themselves.

You mean like every leader of a group in history, because people eat animals and plants?

I’m not talking about a vegan diet. I’m talking about how the forsaken themselves have to blight the land in order to inhabit it and extract foul resources to continue to grow and expand.

How they don’t have the Light, but they do have necromancy and shadow. These forces are naturally opposed to life. They can’t coexist no matter how much you wish they did.

I’m not talking about vegans either, I’m talking about eating meat, mostly. But sure, it’s turning the dial up to 11 in the case of the forsaken.

I don’t know what that means but ok.

Here’s a better example. Why don’t demon hunters just jump ship and embrace the light within them and become normal again? It’s because their philosophy as well as their DNA have been permanently altered. They go a different path, much in the same way the forsaken have gone.

Where they (the forsaken) lack in retribution auras and boomkin forms, they make up in blight.

incorrect, Forsaken have been able to be Holy and Disc priests since Vanilla, and while back then it was passed off as a mere game mechanic, that was retconned in Legion.

Baine is a weak, cowardly traitor. He should have been executed years ago. He spends more time simping in Stormwind than he does even trying to lead his people.

Calia is an alliance npc bliz is trying to force into being the new Forsaken racial leader, even though she isn’t even freaking Forsaken. How would you feel if they made Sylvanas racial leader of the night elves? Plus shes a vapid barbie doll with no character.

Not really. Forsaken are traditionally shadow priests because that is predominantly what they wield. Or they can be discipline, but rarely holy.

It makes about as much sense as a lightforged dranei shadow priest. That sort of thing might be theoretically possible, but I wouldn’t presume that it should be the norm simply because it’s theoretically possible.

Alonsus is the exception, not the rule.

Be that as it may, Alonsus isn’t part of the Horde. He is undead, but not forsaken.
Same with Calia, she is undead but not forsaken. Alonsus doesn’t get to speak for me and neither does Calia.

hopefully Baine dies in SL this time

perhaps but he is proof that it is indeed possible, not just theoretically. It can happen.

Calia becoming the leader of the Forsaken is the equivalent of a Naga becoming the leader of the Night Elves.

She is literally the opposite of the Forsaken in terms of attitude, aesthetic, and even faction.

Well the horde is supposed to be aggressive, warmongering and ready to create violence to achieve their goals. The whole diplomat, noble, just leader thing just doesn’t sit right with me. I liked Garrosh for the most part, especially at first. I was like man this is what the horde needed, an injection of adrenaline

This is such a garb take. Baine is a rational actor acting in the best interest in preserving the diminished population of the horde - read massive war casualties - amidst a new crisis.

I don’t know about Calia.

Calia doesn’t belong in the Horde. That’s my 2 copper.

Exactly.
