We aren’t going to be swimming in dominatiom gear and the appropriate gems week 1 of the raid. Domination gear is just normal gear without the appropriate gem. it’s also not more potent than a legendary until you have gems stacked and a set bonus
Might get lucky…but let’s be honest only mythic guilds will be in heroic week 1

It’s like they didn’t know what the systems in 9.1 were going to be when they designed the systems in 9.0.

So you are assuming people want to do dailies in Korthia and the Maw to make up for Blizzard’s bad system.
Then in 9.2, when the Shard system is gone, we will need to re-upgrade our first legendaries in the higher stat slots.
Seems like some kind of scrapper would be an extremely easy option here.

I’m sure they didn’t know.
It probably never occurred to them that raiders were going to be so upset about having raid drop rates cut in half, and that they’d have to actually do something to make raiding not be the worst content in the game.

Lol so you dont want ti participate in 9.1 content at all. You don’t even have to worry about recrafting a legendary anyways then.
Who said anything about dailies? There’s always all sorts of things happening in Korthia, it’s a great zone.
Not saying we are but I think that is the big issue people are having .
“Oh no if it drops in the slot my legendary is , I’m going to have to make a new legendary and put it elsewhere”.
It honestly doesn’t affect me . I was smart enough not to put it on the usual armor items like head, shoulder , chest , legs et cetera.
I had the option of shoulder and ring and I knew I would have ring longer then I would a set of shoulders or maybe even 2 sets.
When I made mine I was looking at long term instead of what is best right now.
Were people planning to keep their rank 4 legendaries for the rest of the expansion?
Because that seems a pretty silly thing to think.

Same thing. Granted I have a few pieces that need swapped out, but I’m also smart enough to realize I’m not missing out on anything and have more than enough soul ash (even I see start with 0), so I’m not out anything.
Most of my legendaries were pieces I thought id be upgrading more often than not (wrists, fingers, etc etc)
I mean… There is a questline I am assuming is heavily timegated, daily quests, and assaults for the 3rd expansion in a row in the x.1 patch. How is it so great?

TO be honest I don’t know . I haven’t bothered with mine since making it . Maybe in 9.1 I might move it up a little . All I know is I wasn’t going to put it in a spot that would likely change more often then the other .
It’s a dynamic zone, there are always events spawning to do.
The main complaint, I think, will be that there’s too MUCH to do. Plus the usual “it was over before i could get there” complaints, like we saw at the start of Tanaan Jungle.

Omfg, your original complaint was that you need soul ash. You get told you will get plenty, and your first thought is…

I mean you don’t get enough. It takes 2.15 weeks to get from rank 4 to rank 5 and 2.5 weeks to get to rank 4. You will fall behind on ash if you have a lot of legendaries to upgrade.
Have you played the 9.1 PTR?

It takes 5 wing runs to get ash for a 4. It takes 5 wing runs to get cinders for a 5. By the time you have gotten enough cinders to make 2 rank 6’s you will have gotten enough ash to make 3 rank 4s. You won’t fall behind. In fact you will have an excess that you can send to alts to immediately put them at multiple rank 4s

Since the game works in whole numbers, and both of those exceed 2, you’ll be able to craft a brand new legendary, from rank 0 to rank 5 in the exact same time it would take you to upgrade from rank 4 to rank 5.
So where’s the issue?
If it takes the 3rd week to upgrade each of your 10 legendaries to rank 5, and 3 weeks to make a brand new rank 5…it’s the exact same time commitment
And you won’t fall behind on Soul Ash - Cinders are your new currency to go from rank 4-5-6
