I literally created a chrome extension to hide that section of the forums and change their text back to normal.
I don’t like that program, I think its a terrible excuse for Blizzard to ignore actual community feedback and almost every thread I read over there was beyond ridiculously stupid. Some so stupid that it hurt my head. And you get suspended for reporting them as trolls.
Creating exclusive clubs as the only way to communicate with developers is toxic and quite literally no better than middle school bullies that would create their own clubs and put signs outside saying “no losers allowed”

If you make an add on for Firefox please share it.
I hate the gold text.

I disagree with the CCs existence entirely.
They’ve gathered a small number of people, who in most likelihood do not represent or voice the opinions of the community.
And they’re the ones who get listened to.
What blizzard should have done, is hired people to actually gather the feedback that is being given to them by all players and used that.
The CC seems like a very lazy way to pretend they’re listening to the players, to the detriment of the players

I’mma still blame Twitter, since that’s where Blizz directs people to, anyway.

We both know this is very subjective and you wouldn’t link posts which might need attention because you disagree with.
And while you’re doing more than the regular CC, people would have appreciated a more hands-on approach from everyone coming. Most of the CC-user do not live up to their status.

It still adds a link to the GD post you make in the CC thread, so even if the original poster doesn’t reply, devs reading the thread would still see the link to the discussion.

Just to be clear here:
If someone asks you to link their desired discussion to the CC, would you do it?

I think you are a nut bag.
Just my opinion. But you are just one of those people stirring a pot and throwing in random ingredients to see what you can cook up.

I have posted links to threads in GD wren they’re relevant.
I’m letting you know that you are capable of linking a thread to the CC thread by using the chain icon to link a post.

In other words, I hate to say it, it’s a subjective matter. I would rather see an open topic where people can link their forum topics as a suggestion to be discussed within the CC rather what you want to discuss about.

Blizzard don’t take thier suggestions to heart they mostly listen to content creators like bellular or maybe maybe asmongold videos as examples and see the results form dragonflight expansion I hope so
So you mean like in Legion and BFA where they waited WAY too long after getting feedback about the issues earlier?
It’s not a question of amnesia, it’s more like chronic amnesia.
I dont take the council seriously at all but sadly it seems to be the only place blizzard posts now for feedback on stuff…of course they ask the cherry picked community filled with white knights. they could show a literal turd on the screen and ask them what they think…80/20 the feed back is awesome on it…joke.

Whoops I got the colored text mixed up.
I regret nothing.

I read a few post and realized they don’t represent my interest. They are the same people happy with the games systems right now and worse.

I ignore everyone equally.
I don’t care about it one way or the other. The only two I’m aware of are Bluster and Worldpvp. Worldpvp wants to make tanks/other weird stuff a staple of arena, and everyone hates his/her opinions; Bluster is generally pretty reasonable.
I think your opinion is very short sighted and could limit you from good opinions. But in the end, it won’t be any worse then 99% of the suggestions floated around here.

That sounds like an active reflection of the wow playerbase. I could see how developers could benefit from that.
Overall, it seems like people are putting a bit too much into what that group even is. A group of forum regulars who can discuss active topics without the general census spamming? Sounds like a plan to me. These aren’t people with power though, or even actively linked to the developers. They are just forum posters who aren’t going to fill up the forums trolling each other. Put yourself in the developers shoes. If you were trying to view GD, the class forums, the dungeon forums, the pvp forums or anything like that trying to get feedback do you not realize how much useless drivel we as a community produce? How much time wasted it would be to scroll to a legitimate topic and how many posts to wade through? I’m not sure the CC actually helps in that matter but I could see how it was a good idea to try.
