Following that logic there’s also no reason to have raiderio since you’re not going to get into that +10 unless you’ve done a +15 or higher of everything(Which is how it goes, btw.)
2. Yes, you can. People with raiderio just don’t join anything without a certain requirement themselves. If you’re using raiderio or trying to pug mythic keys, you already don’t have all of your friends there to do the m+. That’s the entire reason for pugging so that point of yours is very moot. To do as you ask, that could take months to get up to +10 alone, in the way you ask it.

You don’t need to time 15s to get into 10s don’t be ridiculous. Most group leaders are more than happy to take someone who has timed 8s and 9s. And people will take you to 9s if you’ve timed 7s or 8s and so on.

As a completely fresh player you could start 0s and benthic farming to get enough ilvl to start doing 2s and 3s. Do enough of them and start joining 4s and 5s. Maybe even 6s. Time those and start hunting 8s and 9s. Then just move on to 10s. You could even just sit comfortably at 10 not even timing them, there are loads of players just going for completion here.

You just have to do that for ONE season. Next season it will show your io as 0 but list your previous season as 1000 io for example. Then you just start up where you left off.

My rogue has 1000 io this season and mostly 10s and 11s with an odd 12 here or there. I got into a pug 15 the other week without knowing anyone in the group. Managed to time it with20 seconds left.
