I dont care about M+, raiding outside of lfr, or rated pvp. Of course, I also know people that are only interested in M+ and mythic raiding, and dont do world content, or delves, or pvp. All waste of resources, am I right?

It’s okay to not like things, but player housing is so popular it crashes the alpha servers instantly.

Who knows how many will still be playing with it in 6 months
i see that there are people on these forums that want it and or are excited about it coming.
but i play, my wife plays, my son plays, i have around 80+ people in my alliance guild that plays and around 60 or so people in my horde guild that plays and most of us like myself are launch players, none of us wanted it or are excited about it.
BUT, we will end up interacting with it because we are collectors, we will get the achievements, mounts, toys, pets, titles and cosmetics but blizzard needs to be aware that this will not make it a success. Remove these attachments / rewards and it is doa.
Actually wouldn’t expect anything less. When people purchase from the online store, it prevents increases in subscription prices while raising revenue from the fewer players over the years. However, that doesn’t mean you need to participate yourself.

Archeage did housing amazingly. I was hoping blizzard would’ve done it similar to that but no. I don’t see housing mattering much either.
Have absolutely no interest in this, and this is going to be 75% of the expansion
what is it about housing in a game that people want so much? what is the draw? If I wanted Sims style, I would be playing Sims. I am actually trying to understand the hype over virtual housing.

For the same reason people want more customization options, mounts, toys, pets etc. People like to collect and express themselves. For many people that’s what wow is, and they never touch a single mythic +, pvp match or raid. They just like to quest and collect.
We want a space that we can decorate and customize and have something virtual to show off our achievs, and visit other people’s houses too. It’s a social thing in an MMO.
Even club penguin had player housing lol.
